Looks can be decieving. Chris Verbeem looks like the perfect guy you'd want your daughter to marry. Good looking, intelligent, master manipulator. But in fact, this guy is a scammer who owns a small trucking company in Windsor called Modern Forwarding and Leasing Company Incorporated, a company started by his father, James Verbeem.
This semi-legitimate business, and its owner, violate all kinds of labour laws and even break the law when he deems necessary. The working conditions at Modern Fowarding are so bad that his staff are getting very sick while working, resulting in an endless turnover rate. These employees are not being provided with heat, or air conditioning in the summer months. Attached is a storage garage being used as a diesel mechanic shop, and without any ventilation system, toxic fumes are protruding through the building causing employees to become very sick.
New, inexperienced truck drivers are being forced and/or manipulated into driving unsafe trucks, resulting in many collisions.
Chris Verbeem rips off employees' pay, and most employee paychecks are about 5 hours short every week. He does not pay the required amount of vacation pay (4 percent), refuses to pay overtime, and fires employees without paying termination pay. Employee and customer complains go ignored.
Chris Verbeem and his mother Marilyn are the definition of pure evil. I have had the displeasure of knowing them. They are fueled by money, greed, and take advantage of the less fortunate. Just remember, karma is real!
