Citizens Insurance is not affordable. My modest 2 bedroom home in an unremarkable neighborhood in Hollywood, Fl got a property insurance bill of almost 4,000 dollars! I have never made a claim!!!
The also use underhanded tactics. They doubled my insurance in ONE year. There has not been a hurricane in eight years here. You would think they have plenty of money!! They said since I have an LLC they would raise it even higher. They will give me an 800 dollar break a year if I spend 20,000 to replace all of my shutters and windows. REALLY????
