Classic Body Worx Reviews

  • May 2, 2015

Classic Body Worx's quote to repair my wrecked car was over DOUBLE that of two competitors. Classic's representative (the owner?) was very arrogant, indifferent, and abrasive until he found out that I had the abilty to pay, at which time he became my caring friend. As a result, I did not deal with Classic Body Worx and posted a negative review for their shifty shop. The owner then had the gaul to falsely state in his written response that my review was fake, a false charge that he has levied against most or all of his company's bad reviews, even though it ironically appears that it is his shop's five star reviews that are bogus. Curiously, Classic Body Work's "Yelp" rating is a mere ONE star, probably because it is harder to post fake reviews on that site than at other review sites which are more easily manipulated by businessowners. Note that his shop's Google review page is loaded with five star ratings that appear to have been solicited and/or may be fake, in addition to a number of one star reviews which appear to be authentic.

Any firm can ask its best customers to give it favorable reviews, while not making such a request from its unhappy customers. I have read several negative reviews for Classic Body Worx all over the Internet, which complained about the company's high prices, slow service, poor workmanship, misrepresentations, and/or other problems. I suspect that most if not all of the positive reviews for Classic Body Worx are questionable in some way, if not altogether fake. Many of them seem more like paid ads (because they contain standard marketing phrases) than actual consumer reviews. Note also that even if any of the good reviews are legitimate, the customers who wrote them probably did not have to pay for the repairs because their insurance companies did. Anyone would rave about repairs which they got for free, even though their insurance companies had to way overpay for them.

But again, I suspect that only satisfied customers of Classic Body Worx were asked to post reviews or respond to so-called unbiased surveys. It is entirely possible that the majority of Classic Body Worx's customers were NOT satisfied, but we shall never know because the displeased clients were probably not asked to write reviews or respond to supposedly independent surveys. Studies have shown that most displeased consumers do not bother to complain, so how would we even know about their existence? The owner claims that he cares about his customers, but my experience was that he only cares about making money from them; he sees people as dollar signs, not human beings. If the owner of Classic Body Worx was such a humanitarian, why isn't he running a charity instead of a for-profit business that charges too much?
