Clem Anderson Reviews

  • Jan 10, 2015

I met Clem Anderson through a Broker by the name of Tony Phan. I needed some complex financing for property I own and after having a conference call, I was asked to send due diligence material to Anderson, which I did. On May 29, 2014 we entered into a "conditional committment" which spelled out how he was going to structure the deal. There was a $17,500 refundable fee that had to be paid, less his travel expenses to come visit the site. I should have known better at this time, because when I wired the funds, my Bank called me telling me that Dakota Partners LLC is blacklisted & wanted t make sure I wanted to proceed. I called him & he explained, stupidly, I proceeded. There was also a 30 day expiration provision, that if Anderson did NOT perform, he would have to ask for an extention in writing. That never happened, instead he made promises that he would do the deal based on the Conditiona Comittment.

After his visit here, he was impossible to reach. Tony Phan had issues reaching him too. Until we got an email with questions his accountant had, which I answered for him. On July 28, he said he needed an appraisal and that if the number came in at the same amount of my 2012 appraisal, he would fund me right away. He asked me to wire him the full $7000 for the appraisal. The numbers came in higher.

Again, from there on, I got an email from him asking what the funds were for. I had expalined that they were for debts that I had & needed to pay off. H asked me to send him that information too. Now, both Tony Phan & I were ignored right through approximately October, when he emailed us changing the terms of the deal in a way that he knew was not possible for me to go along with. He absolutely knew I could NOT go along with his terms and conditions.

So, well done Clem - you are $17,500 richer but what hurts the most, you made promises that hurt my business more. Plus the appraisal that was totally not necessary - for a total of $24,500.-.

He absolutely had no ability to fund this project. He scammed me right from the start. He also knew that to go after $17,500 would not be worth it since legal fees would be higher. I am appalled at scum of this nature. He looked homeless & I fell right into his trap. It is a shame trust is a word that has become so tarnished.

Keep away from this person. Do not send him money. I hope some district attorney can read this and go after him. He felt entitled to mess with my life. He should be locked up.
