This ridiculous attempt at a collection of a "debt" is about as dumb as it gets. When I left the State of Washington, I only had the moving truck, and was leaving early in the morning. I was told by the cable representative to make sure I left the cable box with the owners of the complex in the front office rather than bring it intp their office, which I did. That should have been the end of it.. but NO! I was reported as stealing the stupid box, and never turning it in. Why would I take it? No sense at all. So obviously, the cable company has passed this along to any potential bottom feeder like CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING. Why is it I have never heard anything more from either of them?
None of this makes any sense at all, and the debt in the first place was totally bogus. AND .... by the way, I left Renton, Washington in 1995! That was 20 years ago for crying out loud! They can take this debt and stick it!

I recieved a letter stating that I owe Sears National Bank $3599.80 and they want a settlement of $719.96.
I never had the account and knew this to be fraud. I keeping letter in order to sue if harrased any more.
