DO NOT BUY FROM COWBOY REFLECTIONS

They are full of more excuses than any company I have ever dealt with. Going on 18 weeks since I paid in full and they tell me "2 more weeks" I don't know how they sleep at night knowing they have taken so much from people. Maybe they should quit selling stuff and catch up on what they have out. OH WAIT. They just want to steal all your money. DO NOT BUT FROM THEM!!!!!! No refund policy MY ASS. Believe me I will be getting my money back.

Tammy Dorsett and Steve Dorsett are the owners of this business. They hired me to build a new website. Website build amount is $7700.00. They agreed to pay 3 installments of $2566.32 with the first payment on September 8th, 2nd payment on October 11th and final payment to be paid on October 31st.

They paid the first down payment of $2566.32 to get the project started. They failed to make their 2nd and 3rd payment installments. The 2nd payment they sent a check and was received on November 5th. The payment was 5 weeks past due. First excuse was that their store got robbed and they had to replace a bunch of equipment. 2nd excuse they used was that Tammy was suffering from major back pain, which prevented them from making the payment! Third excuse was that their son was in the hospital. Come on, seriously, how low can you go to use your children as an excuse? Turns out that their store was not robbed, Tammy faked being hurt and their son was never in the hospital.

these people are about the lowest you can go. I deposited the check and on November 14th my bank rejected the check for Non Sufficient Funds after trying to attempt collection three times. I alerted Tammy Dorsett of the issue with no response. I alerted Steve Dorsett of the issue and again was met with no response. I then suspended their account for non payment.

Charges are:

$5132.32 for remaining, unpaid balance for their finished web site

$55.00 per month for web hosting on private server, SSL certificate and unlimited emails

$200.00 returned check processing fees (this is based on over 12 hours trying to collect payment)

All work was completed on time. I worked ethically for their company and fulfilled all my obligations, project milestones and project goals. I have to seek legal recouse now through the courts to collect this debt they owe me.

These are not good people. FYI... they hired my other company (online reputation mangement firm) to get rid of bad reviews they've accumulated, we did a great job for them and that is how I was hired to create a new website for them. Should have never done business with this company. Now I wish I would have made the pay me upfront, because of the amount of bad reviews and complaints against them.

Do not do business with Cowboy Reflections, Tammy Dorsett or Steve Dorsett. They'll take your money or try to not pay on services. Beware.

I ordered furniture from this company and placed it on lay away. I made a down payment and received an invoice. At 12:39 on 11/19/2014 I received a call about my invoice asking if I would like to make payment. I called them back on the same day at 12:42 and told them I would like them to take automatic payments, charged to my card for $25.00 every Friday and I would pay the remaining balance when the furniture was to be shipped. At 12:37 the same day BEFORE they EVER CALLED they charged my credit card for $500!! They were not aurthorized to do this! They then denied ever doing it and when they recieved money on 11/20/2014 they told me they have a no-refund policy, even for fraudulent charges!

I then contacted the chief of police for Thorndale who told me to close my bank accounts and cancel my order with them as he is there on a regular basis for fraudulent activity. They charge fraudulent charges to people's credit cards, they don't deliver paid products and they bounce checks for employees and then refuse to pay them! I was advised to file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General to get their business SHUT DOWN!

They are running a scam

For those that don't already know, Tammy and Steve Dorsett have been running a scam, taking orders for furniture, having you pay and then no furniture, they have been arrested with prosecution pending, but we need everyone to get on board with filing charges against them. Go to Facebook page Cowboy Reflections is a Fraudulent Company for more info and contact info to law enforcement, Texas Attorney General and the FBI, Yes I said the FBI, as we are up to over 200 people over many states and over a half million dollars stolen from us!!! So check it out and call the numbers and file reports people, don't let them get away with this!!!!

I purchased a sofa from Cowboy Reflections Mercantile online Aug 2014. I was told I would receive it in 4-6 weeks. When that timeframe came and went, I started calling and emailing on the status of it. Everytime I called I was given some excuse as to what the delay was; always with the promise that it would be here the following week.

This went on for over 4 months until finally the sofa arrived - very damaged. Not only did it have rips along the top back, there was a huge forklift hole in one side. I immediate notified CRM and was told they would contact the shipping company and let me know what to do from there.

After another 2 weeks of hearing nothing and messaging them with no reply, I finally got ahold of the owner again who said (for the 5th time!) that she would email me all the shipping company info.

Well needless to say, it's been another 3 months and I've not heard one word or recieved any information whatsoever regarding the shipping company and filing a claim.

These people are scammers, liars and basically theives. Once they get their money (which is immediate) they no longer care about the item you purchased or you. I am now out $1200 for an item that cannot even be used.

Do not ever do business with Cowboy Reflections Mercantile! They will tell you that your product will take 6-8 weeks to be made and you have to pay for your furniture before they will start on it. I placed an order with them 5 months ago and still have not received my products!

Every time I try to contact them they make up some new excuse! First it was that they had to fire their production manager and that they had to get caught back up. Then once it was supposedly finished they kept telling me that it was going to ship and that it was crated up. I never received any shipping information and kept contacting them with no luck.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and of course no luck their either. They will not respond to them or answer their calls. So hopefully anyone looking to do "business" with them will see this before they too get scammed! They will take your money and run!!

Get your money back!!

If you paid with a Credit Card even if it's after the 60 day mark you call your credit card company and they can dispute it for not receiving merchandise and get your money back!! GL

Will Not Pay for consignment items sold!! Liars!

Sent consignment items to their store last April 4th 2014. Was told on August 28th two had sold and they wanted more items for Christmas. Tammy also wanted a custom item made for herself. NUMEROUS messages since that time and many sob stories on their part including the "Check Is In The Mail" story and nothing to date January 28th 2015. When I called them today I was screamed at by owner Steve Dorsett and called crazy and hung up on. They are crooks and Liars and warrant watching doing business with. I kept ALL my electronic correspondence with them as proof of their promises of payment. I will pass BBB in their area. They told me I could come pick up the remaining two shades from them but no mention of payment for the ones they sold!!!! I guess they think I should drive close to 500 miles to pick them up and they wont return them, if they really do have them!
