I Purchased a vehicle from Steve Scarbrough The Owner Of Custom Everything on 2-12-14. The Sale included the vehicle(1973 Camaro) to be complete and road ready with paint and body work. At the time of the purchase the vehicle was not complete but was to be built and completed as a road reasy vehicle, Everything was put in writing. Steve Scarbrough said that he would need 3000 dollars to get started on the vehicle and that it would be complete in 3 weeks March the 12th 2014. This was the first false date given. After the first deadlne was not met he said it would be mid May before heis done with it. During each time my Wife and I would show up to see the progress, Each time we showed up the vehicel was in the same spot not touched no moved. When questioned about it he would give the run around and say that he has been working on different things and waiting for the parts on my vehicle.
.....Mid May rolled around and the vehicle was un touched in the exact same spot. At this point We had paid he 5500.00 to get he body work and paint the vehicle with a small balance of 1600 due at the time of completion. When we showed up in Mid May The 12th To be exact, He said that he would need untill the end of may to get it done, I noticed that everytime I showed up he had different projects, But none of them were being completed. When questioned what was taking him so long to START on the vehicle, he said Well Im waiting for the parts from another car to put on yours. The truth became very clear that he sold me a vehciel in which he did not even have the parts for, Not only that, He couldnt get the parts untill he finished anothers guys camaro in which he had for a year, ( Untouched ). So once again he Gives me another finish date the end of may. I showed up on may 28th to see the vehicle, Unmoved, Untouched, exactly where it was 15 days prior. First thing out of his mouth was " well it doesnt look like im going to make the end of may " As he was working on another camaro that got there after mine. At this point it was very clear that STEVE SCARBROUGH was not only giving me the run around, He did not even attempt to do anything to my vehicle, I told him that we are not going to go any further with his business and that I wanted to get my money back and he said," the thing about that is, I dont know when I could get your money back....I dont have it to give." So I relize he is taking money from people to pay for his other projects. This man and his company are thieves and DO NOT NEED TO BE IN Business.
