A person calling himself "Borris" called me, asking if my phone belonged to *my fiance's name*. I said no, and asked why they were asking. They then asked if I knew *My fiance's father's name*. I said "Yes, I do know him but I won't say how. Who is this and what are you calling about?" He responded with asking for information on how he could contact *Previously referenced future father-in-law*.
I refused to give him the number, and again asked what the issue was, and how he ("Borris") got a hold of my phone number. He told me that he could not give me any information besides, "We have a lot of resources". I again asked how he gained access to my phone number, and that I was concernced with the fact that my information had been circulated without my knowledge. He responded with a "Thank you for the information, I'm sorry that you weren't able to help us.", and then hung up.
Overall, the phonecall seemed illegitimate and fishy (Fishing for info???).
