I want to report that this company is complete and utter nonsense. I just got their BBB rating revoked for essentially stealing from me. What happened was I was ordering some items for a game. That's the product/service they allegedly provide. HOWEVER, once I placed the order, I was then asked to provide a copy of a Government issued ID to them. I was immediately like, uhm no, that's not gonna happen. I was then told that they WOULD NOT issue a refund to me unless I provided that copy of identification.
Okay, so hold up. Since when can a business legally take someone's money and put a qualifier on it? I literally mean... The money went from my bank account to theirs via Pay Pal. When I said no to the giving them a copy of an ID. They said to me, "Okay fine. No refund will be issued until you give us a copy of your ID." I even tried to negotiate with them. When all that failed and my pocket was about $273 dollars lighter... I threatened them with reports and disputes over the transaction.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I also filed a dispute using Pay Pal. The company never even responded to the BBB. That resulted in the loss of their BBB standing. They then lied to Pay Pal saying that I was issued in-game items and/or currency which never took place. When I emailed their support once more. I was told that, "In order to get a refund...you need to withdrawal your Pay Pal dispute."
Really, guys? So, you CAN LEGALLY take money from a person, DEMAND personal information (that I never agreed to doing), and then you CAN LIE about it? Something needs to be done. These guys need to go away...and for good.
They are nonsense. They are criminals in my eyes, and they should be in yours too. I'm not the only person who has filed reports on here. It's time for a class action movement to get them shut down and get the money back in the hands of the people it belongs to.
