Warning Companies and Performers, my company Postermodelsxxx had a bad experience with “performer or talent” Danielle Elizabeth Strickland AKA Danielle Reid. twitter.com/ModelDaniReid She was booked by my company a few weeks ago for a B/G shoot and some Go-Sees, she was referred to my company by a talent scout by the name of Marshall Sherman, I was reluctant to book her but her talent scout kept pushing for us to book her.
I called her to find out more about her and the companies she booked with, Danielle Reid had so many complaints about everybody she booked with. She stated she was managed by Metro Talent management company and they couldn’t get her booked anywhere.
But of course she had lots of negative things to say about Metro Talent, but I won’t get into that at this time. Danielle’s flight was to arrive on Monday, I discuss with her on Sunday the itinerary of her trip, Upon arrival she was to be dressed and ready for Go-Sees! Needless to say, when her flight arrived she was not prepared and looked as if she was homeless!
My partner picked her up on time and asked her why wasn’t she ready for her Go-Sees, and she replied and said she didn’t want to be dressed up on a plane looking like a Hooker with her hair and make-up done! So now the entire schedule had to be canceled! After booking her trip she tried to scheme and called another agent saying she would be in-town for a calendar shoot! That was a lie! Danielle wanted to utilize this trip for her own gratification and on our expense! My partner Q acknowledge her scheme to shoot with another agent Rick Gordon, at that point she acknowledge the fact that she was going to shoot with that agent at out expense, so she contacted Rick Gordon and decided to leave the model house with him to shoot content! Q made several attempts contact her and she did not respond! Mind you we was providing room and board and transportation.
But during her scheme she didn’t return to the model house at all the first night of her arrival! At that point the agreement was breached. The next day the agent she shot with all night took her on the Go-Sees and none of the companies wanted to book her. After all the turn downs she then decides to run back to us! But the damage was already done! She was Rick Gordon responsibility at that point. Well needless to say she knew that she had screwed up her booking with Postermodelsxxx. That is the real story and we will never ever work with her again. So Companies and Agents beware and Book her at your own risk, she is not worth the trouble!!!
