This company is all about FRAUD!

They have sales reps call and make you think they are calling you from your local TV news station. Sales representative makes you believe that your local TV news station is offering you an exclusive deal with them to advertise your business on their website and there's no other business doing this besides yours. They promise to get you hundreds additional customers every month. They never mention the contract which will bind you in for 12 months. The monthly fee of $299 is not really bad if you are the only business on the news channel's website.

They don't record the sales calls and there is a reason for it. I called and requested to speak to the manager two months after paying for their ineffective service. The manager was rude and he was not aware of what the sales rep promised me. I asked for a recording of the sales call and he simply said that they do not record calls which allows the sales rep tell you anything and promise you anything just to get the commision from the sale. The manager promissed me that day that he will boost our banner which should rotate among dozens of others every few seconds or when you refresh the page, so that it will be running more often than the others. (what does it tell you as a customer who is also paying for same service and now my ad is running more often than yours????) Today, 2 months later, I dedicate my time to go to the website to find my banner and after refreshing the website for 83 times and looking at 83 banners (about 50 different ones out of those 83, since some repeat multiple times and more frequent than the others) I don't see my banner at all. Than I call them and guess what!?!? They send me a screenshot of my banner as if it was live on news stations website. TOTAL RIPOFF

They offered me to shorten the contract term from 1 year to 6 months and threaten to submit us for collections if last payment of $299 is not made.

Wish I did a research on DataSphere before I made the first payment to them

BE AWARE.

Datasphere is a TOTAL RIPOFF. I have been advertising my business online for 8 months not one phone call or one lead. They're deceptive as they make you belive you are guarenteed leads. This is not the case. I wanted to cancel they said I'd have to pay the full remainder. I'm dissatified customer and they refuse to just cancel as a good company should. There advertising is a crock and is completely ineffective. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! or sell your soul for a year. Does anyone know if they report on your credit?

I signed up with Datashpere after recieving a telephone call from Tyler, explaining that I could have an ad placed on my local news stations (KHOU) homepage.

Tyler stated that the ad was only going to run month to month, at $150 per month. I was told i had 30 days to cancel, from when the ad was "up and running".

Everything he told me was false!! The ad was not on the KHOU homepage, but was actually on the "neighborhood" homepage, and KHOU has roughly 50 "neighborhoods". So needless to say, I received no additional bussines from this ad.

Secondly, the ad was actually not month to month, but rather I was signed up for a 12 month period, and would have to pay $150.00 x 12 to be released from the contract because 30days had expired, even though it had not been 30days since the ad was up and running.

Furthermore, the "services" they provide are complete bullshit. For instance, an online profile was created by datashpere for me, and it was filled with typos and misspelled words. After bringing this to the attention of datasphere, i was told the I have the tools to change the profile info myself. In short, these people are crooks.

They will lie and steal, and then tell you its ok, because its in the contract. The worst part is they sought me out, I didnt really need their services, but gave it a try....no good deed goes unpunished.

If you are looking to advertise anything ever, do not choose Datashpere to assist you.

READ all the complaints. Mine is the same. The salesperson called and directed me to the website to advertise my business. "Do you see the finger pointing to the #3? This is where your ad will be. Right now, we have no insurance brokers, so 9,000 people will see your ad every month. On top of that, you will appear on the home page near the top when doing a Google search for your business. All for $199/month."

Scam! Scam! Scam! If you go to the azfamily.com website, you will see this finger pointing to the #3. And depending on the browser, you will get a totally different view, but NEVER did my ad appear. It only appears when manipulating the Event Calendar and refreshing the screen. Who in the world is going to do that to find my ad? Are you kidding me?

After speaking with Customer Support today, he only defended the practices of the company. He didn't listen and in my opinion, he didnt care that I was lied to and deceived by a fraudulent sale.

I cancelled today and put a BLOCK on all future transactions to my credit card. You know, it's really sad that its so hard to find quality service and Customer Support - people who care and will be your advocate.

9000 hits a month? Really? I got 50. That's it. Now they want to review to see how I can get more exposure when that is exactly what I signed up and paid for. Incredulous.

DONT DO IT. TOTAL WASTE!!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING THAT YOU PAY THEM TO DO!

I was cold called by an individual from this company claiming to represent King 5 News offering to add us onto King 5 News' website. We talked a while and he stated how over 1million individuals visit King 5 and how my business would be advertised to at least 15% of all viewers and readers and that I would be the sole advertiser in my industry. For $399 per month they would add banner ads and video ads to the site and they had me on that one. I signed a 12 month contract with them and off we went.

I got an email then from DataSphere asking for information on what kind of ads we wanted. We spent a couple weeks working out the banner ads and then they gave me a very cheaply done powerpoint like presentation of a video. The script was a mash of basic ideas and statements from our website and sounded awful. I gave a new script and this time once it was recorded they just placed it on the website without review. The script was good but the video was still high school quality.

Then some weeks went by and I went in to check my Analytics as I usually do and didn't find a single hit from King 5 or DataSphere, not even a bounce. So we went hunting for our ads on the website. We used a computer in the geographical area that the ads are set to and spent over an hour looking for our ads. We didn't find it once. We contacted DataSphere on the issue and they replied with a screenshot with the ad in an article and an arrow pointing to it in the lower right hand corner as if we are blind and it is obviously there. We tried again. Didn't see our ad a single time in that exact area of the website. We contacted DataSphere and they said the issue is that our ad link is broken and the reason they didn't show up in analytics is because of some technical gobbildygook and because the banner ads don't go to our website but a special profile page which I have never customized or seen or heard of until that moment. I asked for a months compensation because god knows how long the link was down (if that is even true) and for the links to go to my site not a page. Not a problem and supposedly that was done within the hour.

I then asked one of our employees to try and find our ad every few hours. After three days of searching for any of our ads we didn't see it once. We saw multiple ads for multiple companies multiple times but we never found our company's ad even once. We even saw ads for companies in our industry, unlike how they promised we would be a sole advertiser from our industry. I then did research and saw that DataSphere is famous for not providing the services that have been paid for. So with a total lack of confidence and lack of trust in DataSphere I contacted them and told them that in my eyes they are in breach of contract due to services not rendered yet paid for and demanded a full refund of all payments made in the past. I gave them a couple days to reply and they never even acknowledged that I ever made such statement. No phone call and no email. Nothing.

This company is just horrible. They promise you everything but in the end they don't do anything that you pay them to do. Complete 100% waste of money and most likely a scam. I also plan on reporting them to the Washington State Attorney General.
