Total Scam!!!

I have just encountered the exact same trouble as the two previous reviews. I have closed my credit card account and am disputing the transactions. Buyer beware!!!

Skin Logic and Eyetensive by Eyelastic is a scam! When I ordered the 'trial samples', NO where did it say I was being enrolled in a recurring monthly charge for future product, nor did it say I would have to call a phone number (that was not given) to cancel within 14 days. The confirmation email I received for my samples also did not include the info re: future charges/cancellation steps.

This company is so well-known for this scam that my bank locked down my card as soon as the small charges for the samples appeared, and I had to verify the sample charges to reactivate my card. When I called my bank to dispute the new (almost $200.00 charges), they immediately offered dispute resolution, and reversal of charges, but asked that I call the company to request a voluntary refund first.

I was hung up on by the first Dermalogix rep I spoke with. The second rep first offered a 15% refund, then a 35% refund, then a 50% percent refund - when I refused to accept, she offered 100%, but ONLY if I returned the remaing sample products (fully paid for in a seperate transaction) FIRST.

I continued to refuse, since my bank had already offered to handle the issue. After several refusals, I finally said I'd would just let my bank handle it, and I would also contact my attorney. As soon as I mentioned my attorney, the rep 'spoke to a supervisor', and then agreed to refund 100% of my money BEFORE I returned the (already paid for) samples.

I requested emails of this agreement to refund my money, and have received them. The rep said it would be 5 -7 business days before the money was returned to my account - I will update if there are any problems with my refund.

I made them very well aware that everything was being saved and documented, so I'm hopeful there won't be any problems. If there are, I willing be taking further action.

Eyetensive and Skin Logic are a total scam! They lure you in with an inexpensive trial. When you fill out the form online with your name, credit card, and shipping information there is no indication that you will be charged an additional amount beyond the agreed upon trial charge of $5.95, or $2.95 with some discount code that never is an option to enter. When you order one, the other product shows up as a suggestion and they ask you if you would like to get a trial size of that product too. If you say yes both are charged to your account with no subsequent confirmation or price. What they don't tell you is you will be charge another $89 for each sample if you don't return the sample at your cost within 14 days. I wasn't aware of any additional terms until my account was charged for both items. I had already discarded the "sample" because it gave me a rash and for $5.95 it wasn't worth returning. Now I have two $89 charges on my card they say is for the remaining balance of my "samples". I filed a fraud alert with my bank but Skin Logic and Eyetensive said I had agreed to the 14 day terms and have refused to refund my money unless I return the sample.
