Bought a new 2014 Cadillac CTS in Wi. on Jan22,2015 and left for Florida on Jan23,2015. Stayed with friends in Naples, had to show off the new car. Called DeVoe cadillac to see if they do complimentry car washes and they said yes. On Jan28,2015 the wife and I took the car to DeVoe Cadillac to be washed. Pulled in the service bay and the man told us to drive in back can,t help to see it. put the car in line and they take it from there. The 1st man uses a mop like tool with a long handle to pre wash auto. 2nd man drives auto through primary wash. It has brushes and blow dryers . Then the 2nd man wipes down the car with a shammy. The wife goes to passenger side and notices several scratches. Passenger fender, top of mirror, windshield post, and full width of trunk. The car is black so is easy to see. Drove back to service bay and asked to see service manager. He came out looked at the car , talked to the 2nd man at the washer,, and said the scratches were there before it was washed. Did not offer any fix of any kind. On Jan29,2015 called G.M. talked to supervisor in hopes they could pressure DeVoe Cadillac into repairs. But G.M. stated it is not a manufacturing problem so nothing they can do. Being from Wi. I am running out of time. I don,t see why they can,t buff, or detail, or what ever they do to repair scratches.
