May 23rd 2014, I did the responsible thing after a night of a little too much drinking with friends and took a cab home. The cab driver was awesome and gave me a card with a fare number on it and said that his company offered free rides back to the location of where you left your car the next day.
So, the next day comes, I call Discount cab and their automated system sends a cab out to my location. Never having used the "free cab" program before, I decided to call their dispatch to make sure everything was ok with the free ride. Just as the cab showed up, I got on the line with a lady from Discount Cab's dispatch. She said to ask the cab driver if he was cool with the free ride to my car and he said to get in and "we will figure it out when we get there".
On the ride to my car, the driver informed me that this was his first day on the job and that he wasn't sure how the free ride worked. So, when we got to my car, he called his dispatch and they said since I hadn't informed them prior of my free ride deal (I had JUST told another dispatcher there about it and gave them the Free Fare Number from the night before 10 minutes ago...) that I had to pay. So, like an idiot, I forked over the almost $30 for what was supposed to be a "free ride" back to my car.
On the ride home, I grew increasingly angry about being taken advantage of, and called up Discount Cab asking for a supervisor. Talking to th Discount Cab supervisor, all they offered me was coupons for future rides, and blamed the "miscommunication" on me, when I clearly and concisely told them exactly what they needed to know or the free ride. Their automated system sent the cab out before I could even talk to anyone. I informed them that I would never, in a million years, dream of taking a cab, even for free from this terrible company and that I would write to every single site on the internet to inform people of the shady practices of this terrible company.... so here I am.
Please, whatever you do. Choose ANY other cab company in Phoenix, AZ, just not Discount Cab. They make a habit of treating customers like dirt and doing whatever they can to go back on deals they make. My one mistake is paying for that cab that they offered for free, I should have refused... but I promised them that it will cost them 10 times my cab fare in complaints and I fully intend to hold up my part of that deal.
Was Picked Up at a Old Town Scottsdale Night Club-Worst Cab Service I have Ever Expereinced. Driver's GPS system not working nor was his Credit Card Machine. Had no Idea where he was Going and me being from Illinois also had no Idea how to get to my Destination. Driver demanded Cash of $50.00 which I didn't have on Me, so I had to wake someone up at 3:30 In the Morning to Find that Amount. This company & it's Supervisor Arturo should be Fined for his Embarrassing offer of $15.00 for a Future Cab ride. I Would not accept such an offer and informed him about my Knowledge of Social Media and what would Transpire. He Hung up Me. Please report this company to the BBB, they should be shut down.

Discount cab Frowns apon Cab Drivers have Guns on Them they will Fire you if they Find out-But More cab drivers ahve been shot two have Died.
