Hi, Everyone who is reading this post. First, I hope your day gets better. So, lets get to the problem which Doba has caused me.

This company misrepresentd the free trial. How? I signed up with the banner ad i clicked and wanted to evaulate the company wholesale prices to start Ebay store. However, they immediately kept caling to sign me up for the premium trial.

The premium trial is a Lie! I found out of their webiste how to cancel and did just that. Guess what? This company charged my debit card before the time even expired. Before that, I DID call the number to cancel. Yet, the chareges still was posted to my account.

DO NOT give this company your busines! Please! You can find more honest and reputable companies than this one. I hope this helps somebody. Tomorrow, I will be calling them to try and get my refund. I am on limited budget and the money was TAKEN from my account was for insurane.

Now, my insurance company sent letter saying my policy will be cancelled. Hope these customer service people give my moeny back. Thanks for reading my post

I reiterate! DO NOT JOIN Doba.com aka Doba

Doba dropshipping is *a bunch of scam artists. they offer a free 7 day trial but need your credit card # to access their inventory. You can only cancel by calling a cancellation number that is a continuous loop that never gets answered. Then when the free trial is over, they charge your credit card $59.95 for a month of service (non service).DO NOT USE DOBA!!! Had to get my credit card company to call then and listen in when they finally answered so they can not bill me again. If you want to throw away $59.95, take your spouse out to dinner!

I was contacted by phone by doba. the salesman was quit persuasive. It was right before Christmas and I told him I was not going to work on selling things until after the holidays. He said that was no problem. He also guaranteed me I would get a total refund if I couldn't make my money back. I don't remember him saying anything about having to work a certain amount of hours a week or having to sale or purchase an item a least once a month.

He assured me it was very easy and they had tutitorials to help me if needed. As I am a very practiced internet user I believed I would have no problem figuring it out.

So my first time going on their website was quit a shock. The sellers and products they offer me as a resaler, are first of all, so high priced I could buy it on Amazon and send it to the buyer and make way more money. Rather than pay the price they are offering items at, for me the resaler.

I called them and they gave me the run around and told me I couldn't get my money back unless I logged on to their site at least 4 times a month for a year. Plus when I found the terms of service. I also says you have to work at least 5 hours a week and purchase a least 1 item. I told them that isn't what I was told. The salesman told me 3 months. Then left the line and claim they listened to the call and that I was made aware of everything. But they didn't let me listen to it. After trying several times to get my money back and getting nowhere.

I decided fine I will try to see if there is anything I could get my money by selling. Well I listed over 40 items and only one was purchased by 2 buyers. I lost money on the sell because the shipping charges that the buyer paid was not what I was charged on doba. So I lost money both times. Even though I tried to list it, the 2nd time, in way where, I wouldn't lose money. Well like I said the shipping charges were not what the customer was charged on Ebay. So again I lost money.

The prices they charge the resalers, like I said, are set so high that no buyer with half a brain would pay the price they charge me for the item.

I have been buying online, everything, for the last 10yrs. I would never pay the prices they are charging the resalers let the what I would have to charge the buyer just to break even. So tell me why would I spend all the time it takes to list the products and order them, and make no money. If fact lose money. It makes no sense.

Also as far as them saying was told all the requirements I had to meet. They must think I'm an idiot, because I would never have agreed to sign up and pay 600.00 if I had been told everything they required. Also he told me I would get my money back in 3 months if I didn't make back my money. Obviouslly he lied to me.

I hope someone can help me get my money back and stop this company from ripping people off

Doba.com and Commerce Rocket are rip-offs. I received a call from a sells rep who claimed his name was Colton Hale. He stated that he was with Commerce Rocket. He sold me on a dream of how his company could help me place my business online.

He explained to me the different programs and costs. He explained that I would get 30 days free and would have time to review my site before continuing. He also explained that he was with the marketing and design group (Commerce Rocket) and they partnered with another group that has the products and drop ships the products (Doba.com).

The first thing that happened was, they attempted to charge my account even before the 30 days was up. They sent me some instructions for me to go to webinars and learn to build and fill my own site. The reason I agreed to try them in the first place was because I told them I had no web designing experience nor time to learn and they told me they did all the work. I would only have to advertise.

Colton called me from a number that showed to be a local number (205-588-2533) in Alabama. I asked him about that when he gave me a number to reach him back at as I decided to allow them to setup my site. The number he gave me was 801-396-1038. I tried calling that number and no one there knew a Colton Hale. They gave me the number to Doba.com (877-321-3622). I called that number and no one there knew a Colton either. I did find out that they had created two accounts for me and was attempting to charge me on both accounts (well before the 30 days).

They (Commerce Rocket) also informed me that all they do is sell you training and the tools. I had to learn and build my own site. They also informed me that Dobe.com was responsible for providing the products. I compared a couple of products they had, and found that Doba.com was charging double what I was paying. They were getting it from the same supplier because the same product ID number they used was the same number I used when ordering the same item.

They are very deceiving. I was told if I was not satisfied with what they had done, they would refund my money. That never happened. Instead, they tried to pressure sell me on a three year packet at a deep discount. I almost fell for it. I just didn't have the money. After seeing this site, I am so glad I didn't have it to give to them. They prey on you because they know you really need what they promise to deliver. I never got what was promised and I called both companies on numerous occasions. Each company was constantly put the blame on the other company. My advice would be to stay clear of these guys.

This is another snake oil salesman from Utah. Do not waste your money with this firm. They are a ripoff. They claim you will make money with their drop-ship website but if you attempt to sell anything it is impossible because their prices are higher than other merchants online. They will talk you into buying a bunch of stuff and will not refund anything. Do not give them your telephone number and do not give them your credit card number. This company makes its money by selling you a worthless product. I don't know how people working for this company can sleep at night knowing they are stealing money from the unsuspecting. I only wish I had looked up reviews on Ripoff Report before wasting several hundred dollars with this company.

PLEASE people do NOT waste your money on this scam!!! My brother signed up for this when he was ill and out of work needing some income and they of course promised the world and did not deliver at all. I tried to take it over for him when he was no onger abe to do anything with it because of his illness and I can promise you there is no money to be made with this company. There prices are sooo much higher than what you can buy them on ebay and amazon it is ridiculous. They try to tell you people don't always buy on price alone but I don't know too many people who log onto Amazon and just say hey let me buy the most expensive item. Even if you do sell something your margin is so slim you make next to nothing once fees are taken out. My brother wasted his money and I wasted money on ebay listing fees. There customer service also suck. I had an item that actually sold (big deal a baby teether) and it got stuck in the queue and a week later they still have done nothing about it. I had to refund the buyer the money and thankfully am only out $6.00 (I was going to make a whole 14 cent profit). Thankfully it was a cheap item since I had to eat the cost. All I did wa waste time and money but my brother is the big loser in all of this as he purchased the program. Do your due diligence and you will see nothing but bad revews on this company. Only good reviews are reviews from their website or a website that is paid to promote them. I would love to see just 1 person who can actually make any decent money on this. I highly doubt there is. I m going to post on as many sites as I can about this company and if it stops one person from buying into their scam it will be worth my time.

Everyone who has experienced the Doba problem: please ALSO file with the BBB

Summer 2013 I decided to launch an online natural healing resource. I was contacted by a web company out of Orem Utah that promised me that for $16,000 in training I'd make six+ figures at a few hurs per week. I could use links, drop-shippers, more and they would help me set everything up. I declined the obvious scam.

Two days later, I received a call from "Dave" at Doba wondering how my web training was going. I thought he was from this first company so I explained I wanted nothing to do with them. He ignored this and explained the Doba claim of annual $399 membership gives me rights to greatly discounted product lines drop-shipped.

BUT, you have to join and pay to see their offerings. There is a "free trial" but that only lets you see a very small portion of their products for cost comparison. This very small selection looks pretty good. I agreed to the annual membership--Dave explicity and very clearly (I asked several times to be sure) that I had only to log in 4X and if I hadn't earned more than my membership than no questions asked cancel.

I spent days searching through products that were not competitively priced. In fact, some of them cost me more to obtain via Doba than if I go to the local store or order from fairly marked-up sites (not eBay or Amazon). I called Dave and said this was not going to work.

Dave's reply was that it didn't matter that their products would cost more. I had to add value through what I was writing in my blog -- that's how everyone else who uses Doba does it.

Wow. So in other words, Doba can't match the bulk discounters (despite their promise) and it is my job to make sure my clients don't comparison shop by writing craftfully???

Wait, didn't they promise discounted goods, dropped-shipped???

Or, I can mark it up about $0.10 per item to remain competitive. Truthfully, I give my clients more value and I make more money with the same products listed in an aStore (for free) on Amazon. My clients pay less for great products and *still* get my expertise.

I told Dave I was not going to keep the membership. He said I had the year and should just keep working at it.

IMPORTANTLY: Dave also verified that I had logged in my 4X and qualified for the refund.

I emailed a few months later to cancel, and called, and was told I needed to speak with Dave.

I called Dave, no reply.

Dave finally called today - 3 days before my renewal - to complete the renewal. When I explained the above, Dave said I had to call a different number. When I did, that person said the guarantee was only if I'd logged in 4X per month, every month of the year. He also said this is clear in their terms and there would be no refund. He told me if I was stupid enough to not read their terms then I deserved it. Really a nice guy.

I am a good and ethical person. I work hard and am committed to helping people improve their condition in life. I am so certain that I can get a great product that I do offer a real guarantee. If I cannot deliver what I promise, then I shouldn't keep the money. It is that simple. And I deliver what I promise.

I didn't use their service, it didn't fit my business model because I am not interested in overcharging customers - which I could only learn after inspection - I would like them to refund my fee. Simple.

Doba believes in criminal exchange; we pay them they give us nothing. They do seem to have their legal t's crossed and i's dotted regarding refunding fees.

Please spread the word in a meaningful way and protect others from ever getting involved in the first place.

Suppliers club a third party company to doba say they can help you to get a home business up and running with a supplier and dropshipper of product (doba) but in the long run there turns out to be way to many hidden fees and a monthly membership fee... I went to ask for a refund of all of my money spent out only to find out that i can not get a refund.. while speaking to customer service the gentalman i was speaking to was trying to avoid my request by changing the subject or trying to get me to agree to an upsell.

recomendation do not use doba

do not use the suppliers club

customer service is very poor and give you a hard time on refunds

do not waste your money or your time....

Signed up for a Doba account in October 2013. I have been trying to find a way to make some sort of supplemental income to prevent bankruptcy. I have listed a variety of items throughout their catalog on Ebay and Amazon. I have been selling through Ebay for about 10 years and I have a score of 37. The problem with the items available through these suppliers is that they are either outdated items that people are not willing to buy, overpriced or a combination of both. Don't fall for the weekly specials by listing them on Ebay. By the time your item sells, the price is jacked up again. I have been loosing money through Doba through those things I have managed to sell. My buyers are getting a sweet deal, while I am pay almost double for what they paid for it. The profit margins are joke. I have tried calling Doba to complain abouut the products not having the profit margins that are needed to make money on them. They make meet feel like an idiot. They explain that the suppliers set the prices and can choose what they make (or not make) available to their clients. They're passing the buck! It seems like the only wholesalers or dripshippers that will participate and sell stuff to the average retailer are those who have poor deals to begin with. They seem to make it hard on purpose, creating obstacles that hinder the average joe from making any decent money and saying that you have to do the dilligent work of taking their education courses to learn how to jump through needless hoops that a seller should not have to jump through. I know how to sell stuff on Ebay because I have been doing it for about 10 years and I know that if I sell a worthwhile product at a deal of a price, people will buy! This is not the opportunity that is given by Doba. I have even tried twice to ask to cancel my account and get a refund, but they refuse. They will not refund you unless you give them over a year and you have still failed. I have listed tons and tons of items all throughout their catalog and noone will buy them at the price I list unless I loose money on the sale! I will most likely report them to the BBB to get my refund. I am not one to always read the fine print, but the person on the phone still used language to mislead you into thinking that you can cancel at any time. Other companies have that policy. why doesn't Doba? I have noticed that they are located in the state of Utah. Not too many years ago I tried making money from a network marking company located in the same state. Could there be a connection? I cannot keep listing items that are worthless deals on ebay and keep my sanity. I need a refund! They should not even have this policy that says you have to wait and keep trying for over a year, when you know that you know that you know that this service is not going to work!
