Don rady, of Value Real Estate, sold my husband and I our home in August of 2014. He had the home completely remodeled and it looked great in the summer when we bought it. As soon as the rains came, so did the problems. First, the roof began leaking, and not just a small wet spot. The roof leaked in every room in the house. An unlicensed contractor hired by value real estate had given his repairs a "warranty". He attempted to remedy this situation every time it rained. The roof was irrepairable and I have since had to replace the entire roof as well as fix mold and water damage. Don Rady has refused communication in this, and all matters. Value Real Estate also replaced all the windows in the house. At least three of these windows leak every time it rains. There is significant water damage and mold as a result. Don Rady will not supply any contractor information on who installed these windows. Next, the newly installed bamboo floors started buckling as a result of the moisture. And improper installation. They are irrepairable and now have to be replaced. Again, Don Rady will not supply any contractor information on who installed these floors. We have also had to replace the HVAC unit even though Don Rady said he had it repaired. Throughout all of this, Don Rady has been uncooperative and unhelpful. He has maintained a broker does not communicate with the buyer after close of escrow stance. The house was represented as fully remodeled and we trusted the workmanship was of good quality when, in fact, most of the work done to the house is of very poor quality and has cost us tens of thousands of dollars we did not anticipate spending. I would not recommend doing business with Don Rady or any of his associates. Ever.
Don rady also knew of some serious problems with the home he sold me. After looking into his business deals I just realized I'm not the only victim. He is a scumb bag that shouldn't be trusted. I won't be able to selly home if I lose my job and I wont be able to pay for the amount needed to fix my home. 60+ thousand dollars for foundation repair. They where very well hidden during the original inspection of the house. He will take advantage of you. Don't do business with him.
You will be taken for. He is a scam artist. I've had several agents say they stay away from his properties. he is a piece of shit! I wish I would have never done business with don rady. don, I hope you are reading this. Stop doing this to people. This really sucks!! My wife and I worked really hard to Buy a home. you made a lot of money and scammed us of thousands of dollars. I hope one day you get caught and end up in jail like the common criminal that you are. A home ""as is"" doesn't keep you from disclosing issues with the home.
