After submitting my personal information and briefly using the forum for about 15 minutes, I quickly came to the conclusion the forum did not suit my needs or tastes. What followed was a clear example of unethical and unprofessional behavior, by none other than the owner of the sight, a man called Wyre.
The following day after submitting my information, I filed a complaint and was eventually contacted by the owner. He apologized for the behavior of a few of his forum member's and their comments and ask me to remain a member and use the site. I replied to the owner I had no further use for the forum and asked my name and information be removed from their membership. He apologized again, and said he would comply with my wishes. I thought that was the end of the matter. But I was wrong.
A short time later I recieved two emails from the forum. Since I did not want to contact the site directly again, I asked a close associate of the owner to contact him, and he did. The close associate was supposedly operating a Filipino investigation agency called Pointman Cebu, but he was a USA expat. Once again, I received an email from the owner. This email was not a cordial welcoming or another apology as before. He informed me he would remove me on this occasion, but also added I would be barred from the site. I wasn't sure why he added I was barred, since I made no further attempts to use the site nor did I ever plan using it again. What followed was more evidence of the low scruples used in operating this forum and the wreckless abandon of an individual's name and private informatiion. This was done by exposing my name and information upon the web, along with an assort of erroneous and detrimental comments damaging my reputation and career.
Be warn. If thinking about traveling to the Philippines, by all means do so. But stay clear of the website known as .dumagueteinfo.com
