Took my dog in for an appointment and the vet said that my dog needed 3 teeth pulled. I was leary of having my dog put to sleep, however he reassured me that she would be fine. I left ALL of our contact information in the event that something happened to our yorkie. When I went to pick up my dog they told me that they had pulled 13 of her teeth and insisted upon almost double the amount that I was first quoted. I refused to pay the entire bill and let them know that I was NOT happy that they pulled all that many teeth. I informed that it was way too much for such a small dog and they sent her home w/antibiotics.
A couple of weeks later our dog was not acting right, so we took her to the vet where she passed away and once again I was given another outragious bill. They said that she died from an infection~ I am LIVID that they pulled 13 teeth when I was told they were only going to pull 3. I am VERY upset that they took zero responsibility in her death. I had NO clues that our dog was suffering from an infection. She was fine and then all of a sudden she wasn't acting right and we immediately took her to the vet. They are responsibile for her death!
