This place has horrible service and the management is run in a completley unprofessional way.
Our band played there and we did a good job. Our first set had a few speaker problems(common in bands) and it rained heavily that night(low turn out to be expected) After show we were paid and a future engagement was discussed. After several months we renegotiated a new performance with a manager named Chrissy
Numerous texts and emails(over 18) over a four week span re- negotiating a return dates.
Numerous phone calls and conference calls between Chrissy ,myself and our manager. Her concerns over the past speaker issues etc. (pettiness really) As a compensary agreement we gave her a lower (much lower) fee for the second performance on good faith. Several dates were discussed.She tentativley agreed on all accounts!!!!
Then we lost out on other gigs cause we were waiting on her answerer on specific dates(we lost hundreds of dollars)., After all this time she tells us "we dont book bands anymore" .FOUR WEEKS NEGOTIATING AND GIGS LOST !!!!!!!
When i brought to Chrissys attention that my friend in another band just played there, she called him claiming we were"harrassing her" and made posts on Favcebook thet we were 'harrasing her" .Slanderous to say the least!!!!!!!!Very manipulative and cunning behaviour, very unlike other experiences playing at other DURBINS!!!!!!!!
She kept calling anonymously and got numerous people upset
When were performing there earlier, we all witnessed numerous unprofessional aspects to the bar, including high drug sale activity near restrooms. Urine smell all over floor in restrooms,and non hygenic food preperation .Food was cold and the preparers did not seem clean to me.a black eye to the great DURBINS franchise!!!!!!
This place is a dive,beware musicians its a rip off run by completly unprofessional preople. They tried ripping us off originally. We only wanted a return date cause people who saw us there originally,kept emailing us!!!!Which is business for them really !!!!!!!!!
Then in the end she just tried to shuffle blame for all the above issues onto owner,James McAuliffe . This place is known for unprofessional band business by other musicians and I would be very careful of the food preration there!!!!!!!
