We received 3 phone calls in March of 2014 from a sales person from Lighting and Maintenance Solutions and offering my maintenance man a free catalog with some good pricing.The first 2 times my Maintenance man was not at the facility when the calls were answered by this company. My maintenance man gave him his name and his address for a free catalog the 3rd time they called that he would look at it. No catalog has ever been received. It was not known then but the following week a case of 2 boxes of fluorescent light bulbs and 2 boxes of 13 and 18 watt regular light bulbs were shipped to the facility via UPS and the label stated c/o David Bates. I moved them to the private dining room and he was told they were there. He asked me who ordered all the light bulbs. I said I didn't know and he said I wonder if they are special bulbs that the owner would of ordered. The owner received the invoice and paid the invoice 4/16/14 ck # 3865 thinking that the maintenance man had ordered some special bulbs.
A few weeks ago we again received called this time from Easton Chemical Co wanting to speak to our maintenance man for our janitorial needs, My kitchen manager stated he was unavailable and they asked for his cell phone in regards to an order he had placed. They were told at that time we don't release that information. The company called again and this time spoke to staff person, Staff unknowingly gave this information to this company. This week on May 28th we received a case (12) bottles of Earthshield Plus 1400 Drain Opener. I called David and asked him what is the 12 bottles of drain opener for and he said I didn't order any drain opener. So I called the company on 5/28/2014 but I was only able to speak to a answering service person and she stated she would have someone call me today.
I received a call from Wayne today at 11:30 am cst and he said my maintenance man ordered the drain opener. I said no he didn't and its a mistake. I need to return this case of drain opener and it must be a mistake and we have no use for this. I asked for a return label to be sent and he refused and said where is this case of drain opener now I said on my office floor. He said well you accepted it so you need to pay for it. I said no it needs to be returned and he did not offer me a return address and slammed the phone down on me. I went ahead and called law enforcement as we clearly did not order this.I filed a case against this company case # B4-047112 I then started to question on the lightbulbs how they showed up and all of our supplies are bought locally made me wonder how they shipped them and what company they came from....
After looking into this I found out that no one ever ordered these lighbulbs and no one ever ordered drain cleaner, I also found out this company Lighting and Maintenance Solutions located at 3704 Bank Street Baltimore MD. The company Easton Chemical Supply, Inc is located at 3705 Bank Street, I found 76 complaints with the BBB of Baltimore for the Lighting and Maintenance Solutions and 5 reports on Ripoff.com and for the business of Easton Chemical Supply, Inc there was 1 complaint I could find under deceptive telemarketing and 5 under ripoff report.com.They were also known as Werner International Enterprise. All in the same fashion of things shipped and no one ordering these items.
