Motorfreakusa sells damaged items on ebay. Junk made in China, then refuses to refund the buyers money. Paypal eventually did so but the shipping cost incurred by mysel was not. Shame on Ebay and Shame on Motorfreakusa.

We found this car on Ebay, the sellers bimmersandbeaters also known as Auto Broker in Chula Vista California stole our $15,0000.00. We reported them to Ebay and left them appropriate feed back that they derseved. They then called Ebay and cried liek a baby boo hoo wa wa and lied about it. Ebay removed our feed back that we left on them to warn others out there of what they are in fact doing. They are a full on Scam and will steal your money, watch out for them! It also showed on google that the car was in fact in 2 accidents and had a salavaged title they tried telling us it was clear. This is the VIN Number on the car WBSBG9332XEY83992. BE CAREFUL DO NOT BUY IT. This auto place Auto Broker AKA bimmersandbeaters only paid $3650.00 for the car and they are re-selling it for $15,000.00. We never got the car, they will try selling it to you to make another $15,000.00 and so on. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY AT ALL, THEY ARE CROOKED THIEVES IS WHAT THEY ARE. IT IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM!

I was the victim of Internet fraud by a seller named Marina Popov of Canton, Mass.

October of 2014 I purchased a bottle of Andrew Lessman vitamin supplements. She listed the item, as being sealed and I have purchased vitamins from other sellers who were honest and ethical.

It took almost two weeks, to receive item at which time

I was very upset that she deliberately and fraudulently emailed me as I would never buy a bottle once, has been open.

This is also a federal offense since it occurred across state lines. It also goes against EBay policy. Once, she received.payment, she then added a revision under the description which was one word opened.

I haven't received any refund and the EBay customer service is, absolutely the worst. They gave me wrong info and are reps from overseas who are poorly trained..

This situation was handled so badly by a huge Internet shopping service. The seller should be banned for this fraud and Ebay has in my opinion has caused me a lot of stress.

I warn anyone who is an eBay buyer not to buy from this

Very dishonest and fraudulent person.

Firstly, I submitted an "Affidavit of Facts" to ebay directed to their Legal Dept. but it was not delivered.

I not only showed screen shots and pictures of the Perfect Working Atrix 4G phone, I gave testimony "under the pains and penality of prejury" about details of the buyer's fraudulent and fictitious statements in his fraudulent emails.

Even tho my description / Contract stated quote "ONLY Returns on DOA," (dead on arrival) and also stated "NO Refunds" two (2) more times, 2 different ebay CS agents con-vinced me to accept a return. and inspect the phone.

I inspected the MINT Atrix 4G on return.

Verdict is as follows . . .

1, Buyer stated "battery did not charge fully" . . .

But the battery was charged FULLY when I first booted this phone up.

And went to "full charge" for the couple of months I used this phone. I sold this phone as "used."

2. Buyer falsely stated, that phone "vibrates when unplugging form power for 1 minute."

Wrong, it vibrates 5 SECONDS when fully charged, so user is notified when to unplug the phone, and does not after being unplugged.

3. Buyer falsely stated that "the phone get hot."

BUT this phone does not get any hotter than most all cell, wifi smartphones in the world, when used to stream videos and talking on the phone at the same time. I personally watched 3 1/2 hours and 1 hour on a cell call before it got hot.

4. Buyer stated he couldn't install an app." WOW! I'm not going to claify that fiction. Wifi worked great if buyer didn't have a cell provider. And to add insult to ingury, buy didn't send the package of 2 extream guard screen savers with the "NO RETURN" return.

Conclusion: I will never SELL on ebay again. This is the second item I got money extorted from me when I tried to sell on ebay, by two different lying buyers.

Ebay took money out of my account for shipping the "NO RETURN" item back form buyer, besides paying to have it shipped to the lying buyer in the first place.

I lost an amount above minamal amount of 15 USD and that is alot of money for an 80 dollar refunded sale, and I still have the phone. But I spent 1 researching the phone so I could give a great description in full detail. Half an hour building the listing on the WYSIWYG lister. Drove 8 miles to send the item, not once but twice. Another hour for that gas waster. An hour packing and packing the second package. Hour and a half on the phone with ebay's fraudulant support agents. OR About 5 hours plus or minus.

Maybe the words, "NO REFUNDS" do not mean what they spell in this new age of enron companies?

So .... today it is now. . . "seller beware!

The history of my transaction with Bidallies:

1. I purchased a used Blackberry Q10 from Bidallies on ebay.

2. I was sent with the wrong charger with the phone.

3. I contacted them and I was sent a charger that (literally) was 6 inches in length and virtually usable.

4. I contacted Bidallies and we agreed that I would return the original phone, pay an additional fee, and I would get a new phone with Blackberry supplies.

5. I sent back the original phone and supplies (I had to pay shipping) and paid the additional fee.

6. I received an email that the new phone had shipped.

7. I was subsequently informed by Bidallies that the new phone they offered me was out of stock.

In sum, a terrible experience. Moreover, Bidallies tried to blame ebay but it is clear that the fault was Bidallies: they offered me a phone and failed to keep one in stock for me. I received a refund of my payment for the original phone and the additional payment for the new phone that Bidallies failed to supply. But it was a terrible experience and I ended up wasting a lot of time and losing opportunities to get other phones.

Purchased 6 black ink cartridges from "eBay Member: bigdrop423" . 4 of the cartidges dried out or did not have ink in them after only a few months. They would not replace or refund cost of 4 useless cartiridges. If their product does not last more than 60 days, they should warn customers not to order multiple cartridges. They are definately a rip-off, don't trust them.

They would not refund or replace any. They should warn customers that their product does not last even though care is taken by customer to store new ink unopened, in a dry, temperature controlled environment. Don't buy fromthem! Purchased through E-Bay, on-line

Buyers beware! Seller poses as legit on Ebay and Amazon.

Seller uses tactics to make the buyer wait out the 45 day Paypal Buyers Protection Insurance. Once the insurance has expired, the seller then refuses to refund money. Seller then blackmails the customer, advising the customer if they want their money back, they will have to provide the seller 100% positive feedback on Ebay, BEFORE seller can issue the refund. After buyer provides feedback, seller has the option to refund or not (customer uninsured), in which every case, they will not!!!

Sellers positive reviews are all fake. Please be careful and bring this company down! It is NOT legit!!

I found a 2008 polaris ranger 700 xp listed on craigs list for sale. The person of contact said to text her for details. After the text the individual asked to email her and she would explain how this is going to be handled. I recieved a detailed e-mail from the individual.

The individual explained that she was out of town and ebay motors would be handling all of the transactions and shipping. I recieved a email from them explaining the steps to procede.

Ebay motors contacted me with a transaction Id, and what looked like a ligit invoice.

Ebay motors wanted me to process the transaction via "green dot money pack cards". I e-mailed them the copies of the cards. They stated that it takes up to 24 hours to process.

I recieved a conformation e-mail stating that everything had been accepted, and I would be notified when shipping had occured.

This morning I recieved and e-mail stating that they needed additional money for a delivery insurance. They wanted it in the same form as the first payment. Thats when I figured this was a scam.

I contacted ebay motors directly and they stated that the invoice number was an actual invoice that had been taken from them but was for something different. They said that this happens to them alot. Needless to say I will not.

I have been an Ebay member for 7 years and have excellent ratings with Ebay and the poeple i sell merchandise to. I recently sold an item (sony amp) to an individual and i did everything enay said to do. I added insurance for the value of the item ($500.00) I also added insurance thesat would cover the packing and delivery 0f the item through UPS.

I sent pictures of the item, reciepts of the insurances and they buyer got mad and said that he prefers FEDEX over UPS cause UPS damages packages. I have never had a problem with UPS or USPS in the 7 years i have been selling on EBAY. I told the buyer that there was full insurance on the item and he said ok.

When the buyer recieved the package he told me that the item was damaged and that there was knobs missing, panels broken and that the screws came out of the item upon delivery. I told him that he would need to go through UPS and contact them they would pick up the item and determine the cause of the damge. i reminded hin again they there was FULL insurance on the item. he refused to work with UPS in this matter.

I contacted ebay on the 15th of OCT 2014 and let them know what was going on they told me that they would expidite this matter and be in contact with me in a few days, Meanwhile this buyer was continueing to send me harrassing and threatening messages through the ebay site,.The buyer asked for 150.00 dollar refund and that he would keep the item and fix it. he then told me to send him 300.00 refund adn still he wouild keep the item. Meanwhile i called ups and let then know what happendd they said that they would be happy to pick the item up, assess the damage and come to a determination. i called ebay back on the 18th of Oct and updated them on what was going on with the buyer and UPS and they said that they would send another expidited claim and that i should not worry about giving a refund becuase the listing stated no refund due to full ins. They read the emails from the buyer and told me that everything should be fine and that they would have the buyer send me the item back i told them that UPS needed to see the item and that it couldnt be sent back to me per UPS. I Told ebay to make sure that the buyer left me alone and that if any other communication was needed that ebay ciould contact me. keep in mind i was hold between 2 different depts for about an hour and 15 min and a tolral time of 2 hours

I receieved several more threatening messages from the buyer staing that I didnt know who i was messing with and to mark his words. He was completely uncooperative with UPS and they made 9 attempts to retrieve the item and left several door messages about the item. I called Ebay again (another 2 hr call) and basically got nowhere except that that they said they would send a warning email to the buyer to leave me alone. i didnt hear from ebay or the buyer until the 22nd when i got the email that the buyer opened a claim against me. i called ebay and let them know that this was insane and i wanted to know what they were going to do about this. they said they would let me know in two days.

Today (24th of oct) i receive an emaill that the buyer is sending me the item and that i need to issue a full refund, i was livid at this point. Ebay basically told me that i was at fault because i shipped an item to a buyer, they said regardless because i chose to sell and ship an item it was my fault if there was any damage and that once i recieved the item i could call and make a appeal. i told them that this was unfair that there was documentation of all the calls i had made and that i was told by Ebay if i put ins on the item i wouldnt be responsible for a refund due to ins, they said well i dunno the item is beinf sent to you per UPS. I tolds them are you serious he would cooperate with them but he will ship the item back damaged?!? they said that he has 10 days to send it back if he doesnt that they will close the case.

I hung up can called UPS and they told me that they had launched an investigation on him already due to several red flags and that he had called my local UPS and cursed and was rude tot he clerk but couldnt call to have UPS pick it up and get him a possible full refund if indeed they damaged the item in shipping. At the end of the day UPS is aware and able to comprehend the shadiness of this buyer and ebay would rather keep a member of 30 days than keep a member of 7 years with 100% positive feedback. So if you are a long term member of ebay keep in mind they dont care about anyone other than themselves. this entire ordeal has been insanity, I have closed my account with ebay and paypal and just want people to know what kind of poeple ebay would rather deal with,

After paying for book on eBay by Paypal, I was encouraged to wait more than several weeks for delivery. When they failed to arrive after almost 2 months, I was told that no refund would be issued if I intended to open a review case with eBay for failure to deliver.

As the eBay despute period is limited to 45 days from purchase and could not be opened as that time had expired.

I think this company tricked me into waiting beyond the 45 days with a very eloquent letter explaining the many and various reasons for which my purchase may have been delayed.

Their letter was so well drafted and extensive, that it gave me the impression it was a standard letter and frequently used.

Now i see why over 400 of there customeres have lodged negative or neutral feedback in the last 12months alone.

Syncelectronic is an eBay seller who refuses to divulge contact information other than through hidden eBay email exchange. This seller is a FRAUD. They sold me 2 phones they advertised as under HTC factory warranty but when the phone shut and I contacted them to get it fixed they told me that I had to go to HTC and that the phone was still under warranty. I contacted HTC who stated that this company is NOT AN AUTHORIZED dealer and should not be advertising their phones as such. This retailer refuses to give me my money back of replace the phone.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!!!

We answered an ad on craigslist for a 2004 Toyota Tacoma.Very little information so we called and left a message that we were interested.A mary reynolds called us and asked us to send our e-mail address and she would give us more detail.Actually sounded to good to be true!!! She got the truck in a divorce settlement and had another vehicle so didn't need the truck.V-6 4x4 only 69000 miles! Exactly what we had been looking for. When she said she wanted to go thru e-bay I stuttered. But she assured me it was secure! We were to buy Money-paks at the neibourhood 'Kum & Go'.These money -paks say they are for e-bay and paypal purchases. So we sent 5=$500 money-paks. Then they told us we had to send $1000 for insurance for the transport. This money was refundable upon delivery of the vehicle.Neeless to say I have repeatedly try to correspond with them. That's when I decided to look up e-bay and officially inquire. We were scammed for $3500. We are retired and on a fixed income so this digs deeply into our savings. If we can save someone else from being scammed-I hope this helps!!!

Ripped Off over $600.00 because both eBay and PayPal let the Buyer-Protection clock run and threw me under the bus by allowing these long-time Scammer and Fraudster Sellers keep my money for buying from them a refurbished smartphone that they list as New: Apple iPhone 5c 32GB White Unlocked #351116444750 ebay.com/itm/NEW-Apple-iPhone-5c-Latest-Model-32GB-White-Unlocked-Smartphone-/351116444750?pt=Cell_Phones&hash=item51c02bc44e , then shipping it back to Hong Kong and 66 days later no refund for fake phone and for shipping charges. These Scammer and Fraudster Sellers have been scamming unsuspecting eBay Buyers for years, helped in part because eBay has this jacked up Feedback system that makes these Scammer and Fraudster Sellers look legitimate with scores all over 96%. It BOGGLES my mind why EBAY and PAYPAL have NOT Banned and Suspended these Sellers --> Who Fraudulently Lists REBURBISHED Phones as BRAND NEW - mellexstore88; /aka/ goldenfield*2014; /aka/ unlocked_nocontract; /aka/ topcall; /aka/ smartphone_wholesale; /aka/ cellphoneforever; /aka/ [email protected]; /aka/ [email protected]; /aka/ unlocked_smartphones; /aka/ unlocked_breakfree; /aka/ unlocked_nottobetied . aka MABILI INT TRADING CO LTD /aka/ SOWAYTECH Unit D & E, 2/F, MERCANTILE INDUSTRIAL & WAREHOUSE BUILDING, 16-24, TA CHUEN PING ST., KWAI CHUNG, HONG KONG; /aka/ HAPPY TOAST LIMITED; aka SOWAYTECH International Trading Company Limited; /aka/ IDS Online Corp (S23) 909 S 336th St Suite #104, Federal Way, 98003, WA | PETER CHEUNG 59-71 WANG LUNG STREET, RM 5A TSUEN WAN INDUSTRIAL BUILDING TSUEN WAN HONG KONG HONG KONG.

I"m having the same problem right now and they strung me along for the last two months. they owe me $700+ and keep telling me that when their funds on PayPal are frozen they'll reimburse me. It's BS but all I can do now is wait and see if they pay me back. Do not buy a phone form this company. they're all defective. I went through 4 phones that all had mechanical deficiencies.

Company sold Brother Copier Drum as "New Brother Drum" (OEM) but repackaged. When my former drum ran out of useful life, I installed this drum. Within three or four weeks the drum began smudging copies. I cleaned the drum several times, which sometimes helped for a few copies, but always then smudged again.

I tried to call the company six to eight times only to receive a message mashine which said the call was important, leave a message and they would call back. No call back to me was made. A company rep could not be reached. They refuse to call back.

I saw also a report from a Xerox dealer who ordered original manufctureer toner and got what he recognized as a counterfeit product. He could obtain no satisrfaction from the company either. I did contact the auction house through which Cellinktoner sells. They checked feedback and found that what I reported was not unusual.

I might also note that I then ordered from TonerBoss and received fine service and a good product from them. I had on one occasion received a defective product from TonerBoss, called them and advised of the problem. They provided me a return label and sent a replacement product immediately, which worked well. I can comfortably recommend them for computer and copier, etc. products.

I recently purchased a compuyter monitor on eBay. It was unacceptable because the buyer misrepresented it; It did not support the high resolution advertised.

eBay maintains a lie that it calls the "buyer protection plan." As stated, the policy is "sellers are responsible for return shipping costs if an item is not as described." eBay refuses to enforce this policy. I have lost the return shipping fee, thanks to lies by both the seller and eBay.

eBay is truly a dangerous place to do business.

This Ebay buyer named cannondalex911 has been consistently ripping off Ebay buyers for over a year now. He has used the SAME tactic to extort/scam money from at least 10 different sellers. He declines refunds and resolutions and files disputes when he doesn't get his way via message. See the feedback he left for others for proof, there is at least 6 or more in the past 6 months!

Ebay vendor Spikedcollardogs, ebay store Keepin Kool sells nothing but cooling products (fans, conversion kits and radiator/fan sets) made by ffdynamics. As such, I feel they are either a sole distributor for ffdynamics or actually ffdynamics selling on ebay under an anonymous identity.

I wanted to purchase a fan conversion kit for one of my vehicles and was in need of additional information. I had tried for over 5 months to get the information from ffdynamics via their website ffdynamics.com. I tried all means of contact, multiple times for 5 months and could not get a response from ffdynamics.

When I checked on ebay for the product and found spikedcollardogs, I contacted them explaining that I needed some information and asked them to share it with me. They said they didn’t have it and referred me to the website of the company they represented. This was the same site I had been using all these months in an effort to contact them.

I tried again as they suggested with the same results. I also looked up the registrant of the ffdynamics website and contacted them requesting assistance…no response from them either. I again contacted spikedcollardogs on ebay explaining that ffdynamics would not respond to my emails and requested them to contact the company they represent, to assist me to get the info I sought. Once again, I was interested in purchasing a system from them.

Their response was (copied from their email) “listen i aint no ones errand boy…enough with wasting my time,go buy a flexlite and move on already.” Getting past the spelling and grammatical errors it showed me that this was certainly not anyone I would be confident in purchasing anything from.

I would encourage all ebay looking for automotive cooling solutions to keep away from spikedcollardogs, the Keepin Kool store, and also ff dynamics company. Get another product where you will have the customer service and support and product warranty you purchase and deserve.

There is a vendor on ebay operating as “spikedcollardogs” that seems to be an exclusive dealer. It might even be ffdynamics itself, I don’t know. This vendor has absolutely no customer service, refused to contact ffdynamics to get some information for me and actually told me to go buy another fan setup. They are the worse vendor I have ever experienced on ebay! I urge you to not do business with them as they won’t be there for you if you need them. Buyer beware!!

eBay lets buyers extort positive feedback from sellers. Just buy an item, any item. Tell the seller you are going to leave a feedback if they dont refund some money. eBay doesnt care. Happened to me. I reported it at least (3) times. Nothing happened and seller got away with it.

eBay is the WORST site for customer service of any company operating on the internet today. They will loose most of their business as soon as a viable site is available to use.

I've been a seller with Ebay for over 10 years with 100% positive feedback rating. I decided to take one of my ECigs and place it on Ebay. Its a better alternative than smoking the real thing. Ebay flagged with a violation alert under the NO TOBACCO policy even though they have Pipes and Bongs sold on their site (just shows how corrupt they are and how they are being paid off by the large tobacco companies). I've been an activist with a scary judge of talent for some time. I called them up and questioned them about it. There was no way for them to explain how an ECig falls into a tobacco category. Its absolutely impossible so I got fed up, said a curse word over the phone and hung up.

Later, when I went back to my Ebay messages inbox I had a 2nd violation alert for "vulgar language" ... THEY CAN'T DO THIIS. it was NOT on their platform. It was within America, The Land of The Free over the telephone.

Since then I have opened an entire twitter and facebook campaign exposing them and calling them out for their corruption and what they did. I want the media to garner attention!

And since I've done that, they have even retaliated by removing items I've had on the site for over 2 years selling with dozens of satisfied customers like The Bill of Rights booklets. They flagged me for selling cosmetic jewlery and frankinsence. the list goes on and on. They are entirely attacking me now and I'm not backing down on speaking out onsocial media.

I need help spreading the word though.

I need media attention and possible legal advice.

God's blessings are best!

I first purchased what I thought (and was described) as a compatible AC Adapter cord for my Toshiba laptop Dec 21, 2013. It worked fine for awhile. However, on July 3 it just died. I contacted the seller Laptopz-outlet via Ebay about replacing and the warranty. They wanted me to send the cord to them but I wasn't gonna send a dead cord. So they asked me to pay an additional $3 to get a new cord. They sent the cord and brick. In about 5 weeks the cord just died, again. Again I contacted them to send a replacement and asked them to overnight but they refused. This being after I don't know how many emails corresponding back and forth and they only answer one a day and very late at night usually (well after midnight) and we are in the same time zone supposedly. I finally received the replacement Aug 21, 2014 and plugged it in and it doesn't even work. Now they want me to send them back both cords for a replacement. I shouldn't have to pay to ship something damaged back. It is my opinion that the merchandise is suboptimal. I am in the process of opening a file on ebay regarding them also. Don't buy from them.

This person purchased an iPhone 5S which my son got water damaged after went into the pool. We went to a repair shop locally after 5 days of submerge into rice and vacuum and was not able to power up. We were told that we need to replace the logic board which is much more expensive than the warranty from apple. So, we've decided to sell the phone on eBay. Immediately after the listing (an hour to be exact), Irina Shabanova (eBay buyer: belochka_inc) purchased the iPhone from us. We then shipped the phone via USPS as it was shown on eBay. She got the iPhone on August 4, 2014 and immediately on August 5, 2014 filed a claim on eBay and Paypal to reversed the payment. In the resolution center she claimed that my phone is iCloud locked which I removed from my account immediately. Then she said that this is a stolen phone, which I invited her to joined me on a conference call with Verizon Wireless and Apple to proof that we are the original and actual owner of this phone. She then did not respond for several days and said that she checked with Apple again stating that this is a stolen phone. Just couple days later she escalated the matter to eBay saying that she did not want to waste her time to go on a conference call (which would of been 5 mins of her time) with me (but can wait 15 days) for eBay to reverse full refund to her. Now, she is not even returning the iPhone to us. Hey if you said that it is stolen property, then receiving stolen property is a crime too. Why don't you return it to us. belochka_inc / Irina Shabanova, you are a SCAM artist!! You think I don't know what you are pulling!!! This is what you are doing: Buying a water damaged iPhone on eBay fully knowing that Apple will not honor the full warranty. But instead turning it in for water damage warranty which would only cost you $275 then you've got a brand new iPhone for $275 instead of $600+ dollars like what law abiding citizen would pay for. Instead you SCAMMED me out of $325 and my son's iPhone. I hope KARMA would catch up with you soon. You are a dispicable scam artist that belongs in JAIL. So people, when you are selling on eBay. Beware of this person. She is someone not to be trusted.

BEWARE OF OVERSTOCKEDAUTO!!! I originally purchased a pair of Monroe OESpectrum front struts for my vehicle fro OverstockedAuto on Ebay and the reason I purchased from them is that they offered a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the products. In May of 2014 I started hearing clunking coming from the front end of my vehicle and thought it was the ball joints but after my mechanic diagnosed the vehicle, they said the drivers side strut was gone and the passenger side is going.

I tried contacting the seller and got no response initially and then it went to Mike ([email protected] and he decided not to help me either.

I contacted Ebay about the problem but they said because it's been more than w months they couldn't help me and sam thing with PayPal.

This is Mike's response to me:

You are so adorable and cute with your tiny threats. Are business has been increasing and we actually had one of ebays top managers visit us last week because of our huge successful business. Because of our innovation Ebay has since taken us on as consultants to change policies due to our success and suggestions. That is simply how we operate. We are scheduled to do 5 million this year with ebay alone. Please make sure to tell Tenneco that as well. I am sure they will want us to increase their product line on our stores as well.

It appears that Ebay would rather protect it's relationship with this fraudulent vendor than make things right with the people who ar being ripped off which is evident by how many negative feedback responses they have received in the past 12 months.

I sent an email to the company Tenneco that OverstockedAuto mentions as the warranty supplier on their ad but Tenneco's position is that if you buy your product from an online retailer then it is the online retailers responsibility to honor the warranty and NOT Tenneco.

Check their feedback over the past 12 months and you'll get an overvew of how they do business and if you decide to return a faulty or defective product, Good Luck!!!

I bid on an item with a max bid of $50.00. With one hour left before the bidding stops ansd with the current bid price of 6.65, a ebay member bid twenty three times at five to ten dollar increments until he/she reached $51.00 which made him/her the highest bidder. Witin three minutes, this person retracted their bid. Now, I am stucck at my highest bid when I could have won the item at a much lower price. I called Ebay customer support about possible shilling and they said that they could not prove it because the seller and the high bidders name was not the same; their address was not the same; their phone number was not the same and their IP adddress was not the same. Regardless of what took place, they refused to look into it. Also, Ebay policy says that one cannot retract a bid if less than twelve hours is left before the bidding stops. When this person started the escalating bids up to $51.00 and then retracted the bid in 3 minutes, there was less than an hour before the bidding ended.

Ebay is very deceitful in having its members believe that they are safe guarding buyers. Their lack of attention to this manner is just another nail in their coffin. Very deceptive practices. By the way, I purchased thru PayPal for this item.

I found the 2003 Honda for only $1420 and contacted the person and it was supposebly a Sargent in the army called Rachel sole's who said there was nothing wrong with it just that she was leaving to Afghanistan by July 1st and had to make the sale. So i went for it but she said she was going to do it through eBay Motors so that the shipping would be taken care of and she would pay for it.

How the transaction was ment to be was through a MoneyPak order which was three of course two of $500 and one for $420. I did that and the next day io get an email said that the seller had and insurance on it for $2000 and that we each had to pay half. I thought about it for a couple of days and decided to cancel the transaction.

Once i let this David Specer person from ebay motors Trust and Safety Department know that i wanted to cancel the transaction he said okay and then hung up and every time i tried calling back the line would sound cut off but i tried with another number he would send to voicemail. I emailed him several times in regards to have i would recieve my money back and never again did i get a single call or email back from this person!

Now im $1500 dollars short and im going to college without a car. If you have a similar case please let me know i want to get this solved i really need that money back or atleast to know this person isnt scamming anyone else.

We recently discovered that Ebay charges an insertion fee of $ 20.00 not only when you start a listing but MONTHLY for as long as your listing is not sold, and this is regardless of how low your asking price is.

This charge is collected if you place an item for sale in their "imaging" category. When you look at their fee schedule for this category, it prominently displays an insertion fee of $ 20.00 and a selling fee of 4% of the selling price. You have to dig in into their fine print to find out that this is a MONTHLY charge (it took us 45 minutes to get to the right screen that says that this is a monthly charge).

What a rip-off !!! We just tallied our charges and they amount to over $ 600.00. Over $ 320.00 for an item that we were trying to sell for $ 250.00.

They call this fee an "insertion fee". How can they justify collecting in perpetuity? You only insert an item once, when you start your listing.

We wonder how many eBay customers have been riped-off this way.

My wife bought an item off ebay from a seller who had decent feedback. Two negatives he had hudreds of great looking items. My wife bought an item as a birthday gift for our son (age11) . After my wife made the purchase, she paid vis PayPal then the trouble started.

We recieved 67 disturbing emails from this ebay seller, Mr George Boulos with demands and threats concerning the feedback. This was not acceptable and we do not take threats very lightly.

The item arrived as promised. We will never ever buy from George Boulos again. He sells on ebay under George9785. This man is a menace. We filed a police report as well as a police report in Blaine Washington, where this phsyco resides.

We found a mug shot of this stupid maniac person and it has been posted.

I followed an item and auction for a week, following all guidelines set by the company. When I successfully bid and won my item, It had no reserve meaning the item would sell to the highest bidder (me). I then paid for the item in the manner the owner preferred within 10 minutes. The next morning I got up, checked my messages to find out the seller was refunding my money and refused to sell me the items listed and photographed. The company who featured these articles said they have no item or document in place to 'enforce' these auctions so the end result is I had to buy the described items (since I still wanted the items) and ended up paying literally ten times as much through non-auctions. This company is known and presses how great their auctions are but "Buyer Beware". I have not used their auctions since.

Ebay had an offer emailed to various members where if you sold an item by March 22nd 2014 you would get a $10 off coupon.

""SPECIAL OFFER

List and sell an item by March 22, 2014, and get a $10 eBay Coupon when it sells.**""

I receieved the coupon code in my email on March 28th, with a use by date of April 6th 2014. I tried using it March 30th and was informed there were insufficient funds in an error message.

According to others eBay is not honoring the coupons anymore with customer service telling people eBay does not have the funds.

Here is a thread with information on the issue:

community.ebay.com/t5/Checkout/Has-anyone-had-problems-redeeming-their-10-coupon-code-recently/td-p/19997560/page/2

Luckily the item I wished to purchase was a buy it now with payment needed immdiately or I would have been stuck with the full price of the item.

I wanted to tip the consumerist on the awful experience I have had on eBay.

I sold a laptop on eBay listed by using ebay's listing system which adds defaults without the sellers consent and added a description of the relevant information to determine the parts of the laptop including the exact processor model. Buyer the seller emailed first about the condition of the laptop despite the large amount of pictures documenting the condition of the laptop. Buyer then proceeded admitted to attempting to flash the BIOS of the laptop which software not designed for the laptop which is puts the motherboard at risk of permanent damage. He then proceeded to claim he had problems with the BIOS after this attempt. Buyer then proceeded to message about getting a refund.

Buyer then proceeded to extort me for 50 dollars off a 320 dollar transaction (15%). I offered $30 dollars to simply avoid the long process and attempt to keep him happy despite the buyers remorse which Buyer declined. These contacts where all documented through eBay's messaging system. Buyer claimed the product was not an ASUS product and I uploaded proof from the ASUS website where the laptop is registered. Buyer claimed the windows was not genuine and I uploaded the email of the receipt of my purchase of windows. Buyer made various claims which I proved where false. The case was decided in favor of Buyer however I believe that data should be open so that sellers and buyers know which proportion of cases are decided in the buyers favor which I believe was public would be shocking to sellers.

On top of this ebay charged me 33 dollars for final value fees on top of the 342 dollars I am out on the sale and the item the buyer currently has.

I recently listed a collection of photography equipment for sale on eBay. I clearly listed it ""As-Is"" and clearly stated that ""I am not a photographer so I will list what I can, but the photos are a more accurate representation of what's for sale"". I was emailed by the future buyer, who, as evidenced by this email, was aware he was buying the lot ""as-is"" and used that

fact to negotiate a lower price:

""Dear xxxxx,

Your price is reasonable even now. But the problem is your items are not

inspected or tested. So, I took the safe side to take care of any unexpected

none-working items... I'll place my $xxx.xx offer (including your Canon AE-1

with lens), Just for Today. If it works, let me know.

Thanks anyway.""

On top of that, the buyer is only disputing one camera out of the lot, which an

identical one was recently sold on eBay (#131109121424) for $29, which is only

1/7 of the total value. I even offered him a $30 refund for that camera but he

refused.

He opened a case and eBay somehow ruled in his favor. I have called multiple times but have since found a complaints page literally filled with other sellers with similar problems and NO help from eBay: community.ebay.com/t5/eBay-Cafe/Buyer-Complaints-eBay-Complaints-There-are-none/td-p/2922773
