I was referred to Edmond pediatrics and teen dentistry for my sons teeth that only had 1 cavity on 1 molar and 1 cavity on his front tooth and they said he needed all six molars and all 4 front teeth capped! I asked if they could just do fillings and he said no they dont put filling in children they have to be capped! I thought to myself, my dentist didn't say anything about all those teeth! So i took his report to my dentist whom is a very honest and trust worthy and he said that it sounds way to "aggressive" and sent me somewhere else. The other specialists agreed with my primary dentist and also said that you CAN put fillings in children. Edmond pediatrics and teen dentistry never told me to get my son a physical before he is put under or anything! They wanted him in asap and i researched the prices and of course he was wanting to cap all the expensive teeth and he gets more money for caps than fillings! Beware of all dr.s and always get a second and third opinion. My baby is only 3 and he was going to destroy his mouth just to make a buck. How many unnecessary teeth has he shaved down and capped when it wasnt necessary? Poor kids neef to feels safe at a dr and parents shouldn't have to question if the dr is looking out for their childs best interest or their own. They should be shut down! Dr.s and dentist don't deserve a 2nd chance. We should be able to trust them with our lives.
