Cliff Nader called me got very rude when I mistook his company for another. Got very argumentative with me. I finally hung up and he continued to call me and harass me through email. Will never work with this agency!
Please be aware of the sevices this company claim to provide. I purchased a targeted list of 5,000 names that was suppose to consist only of retail merchants for souvenir and gift shops throughout the US. Now that should not be hard to do for any listing company and I emphasized precisely the list I was seeking in which they promised it would. However I was furnished the list after the broadcast email had taken place that which names for software developers, construction companies and other entities that were meaningless or having absolutely nothing to do with my trade. I was not given prior notice to the execution of the email blast nor did I have an opportunity to review the list until after the fact. The inquiries or responses to email blast was a fat O, nothing, nana. Did not generate not one lead, nothing. It was $1300.00 down the drain for absolutely nothing with respect to return on investment. I would suggest to whoever intend to hire this company for marketing purposes to look elsewhere to a more reputable outfit. These guys are just out to scam out to steal your money and I regret not checking out this site before doing business with these scammers. Be aware, be very aware.

I purchased a 2,000 list to test their product for $450....Glad I did before I made a large buy. roughly 80% of the list was gmail, yahoo and aol accounts....Keep in mind this was to be a list of business owners and marketing managers...I know something was not right. I have been generating leads through email marketing for years and usually I would get 3-4 solid leads per 100 emails sent. In this case 1/3 of the list was bad emails and out of 2,000 emails from Exact Data, I had ONE lead that did not even work out. I submitted a complaint and received an email message a few weeks later stating that the list was accurate and I got what I paid for...Really??? As it turns out, I paid for a valuable lesson...Do not do business with Exact Data!
Exact Data contacted me by phone and sold me approx. 3500 leads for $300.00. These were supposed to be people who had recently gone on-line to inquire about getting a new roof or roof repair. I told them that I would purchase this only if they promised to release these names to me in increments per my request so that I would have time to contact these people and then get the most recent on-line inquieries. The salesmen, Tony Toledo,went to his supervisor, Hillel Lipson, and they approved it. The first list was E-mailed to me and I began contacting these people. Not one of them knew anything about going on-line to inquire about roofing. Then to make matters worse exact data rushed me the rest of my entire list that I had not requested. Then what they called their client support coordinator,Tamiya Goggins, contacted me with a canned speech saying there was nothing they could do to help me and basicly told me to stick it. This company did not do one thing that they promised and gave me a phoney list of names that I could have gotten from any city phone book.
This group promised a "good" list with 10% +/- bounce back. I got over 50%.
The list has contacts under the corporate unbrella, not allowing us to even know what property the contact works!
The phone numbers were mostly corporate, no direct lines as promised.
The people were no longer there YEARS AGO
The emails DON'T WORK
I explained this to my sales guy Joe Murphy and he said they will make it right. I then got another 500 or so leads with about the same luck. I told him/them I was unhappy and wanted a refund or a viable list. This list, we cannot nor have we, used.
His response:
"I understand your position. However, this purchase order was pulled correctly according to the specifications of the purchase order. In addition, in the terms and conditions, states ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS.
I understand their position, but I didn't know I would be getting innaccurate data vs what was PROMISED.
I have repeatedly requested they make this right with either a GOOD VALID list or a REFUND,

Sent 3 emails in nothing. Im going to the Illinois Attorney General. I would like to give a -10. SCAM company run for these people.

Exact Data contacted me by phone and sold me approx. 3500 leads for $300.00. These were supposed to be people who had recently gone on-line to inquire about getting a new roof or roof repair. I told them that I would purchase this only if they promised to release these names to me in increments per my request so that I would have time to contact these people and then get the most recent on-line inquieries.
