Do NOT TRUST RANDY COHEN. I was working for the man on a multi million dollar contract for a very popular company. The man does not know how to run a company. He thinks he could fire me. He thinks I will not sit idly by without filing a lawsuit. He thinks he can terminate a contract just like that. A contract is a contract. He blew a million dollar deal by "firing me". He says "you are not an employee. You are an independent contracter" Then how can he fire me?

I spoke to friend who has a very lucrative business. My friend told me get a lawyer. He cannot just break a contract just because he says so. I will not sit back and let what he did to me happen to you. Don't work for the man. RANDY COHEN IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!

Okay so here is exactly what happened, first I move to a new town and I'm looking for a internet provider, I find exceed and decide to call them well they made me a offer of 60 dollars a month with 14 Mbs speed with a data cap of 30 gig, I decided to get it and see what it was about they set it up and first day my speed is at 5 Mbs the setup guy seen it and said it would get better well it didn't, I tried to cancel the service after 4 days and they said to work with them but if I cancel that I would owe 300-400 dollars just to cancel

I'm like what, anyway it's been two weeks now and I have not even been able to stream a movie fully on netflix, this guy also promised that gaming would work good but it doesn't work at all, and surfing the web at times is very difficult, truth is this service sucks bad, I wish I never did any business with them, I am currently trying to cancel my service and get out of this contract but they say I owe them 350 dollars to he out of the contract, they say they didn't break thier contract but every promise made to me and my family was a lie they have not been able to deliver a solid internet service to me at all and I haven't even had the service two weeks and they want to charge me 350 bucks to even cancel because they can't deliver on their part ,

my experience with exceed is they are scammers an liars, do not do business with these guys you can find a way better provider than them. They won't even wave thier contract fees for someone who hasn't had their service for two months and want to charge me 170.00 a month just for the service that doesn't deliver that can't even stream a netflix show. And their customer service isn't good at all, my experience with them has been lies and scams so far.

A man came to my house from Exceed LLC offering me a $500 gift card for signing up with them to select a real estate agent if/when I ever sold my house. I was to receive this card in a few days, and was under no obligation to sell my house at anytime. I would still get the $500, and not have to pay it back. I could choose a different agent at anytime.

Never did he call this a contract, nor did I ever sign my name to anything; only initialed two boxes. I did not give my correct birthdate, or any other information. The representative said that I could cancel at any time. Then 2 days later I started reading the 4 emails that had come immediately after the man was at my house.

The fifth paragraph in one of those emails made me know that I was involed in a scam. It said "If for any reason you decide you no longer want to be a Member of our community of smart homeowners and NOT be paid to be a Smart Homeowners Program Member, you may cancel your membership at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after today, in which case your cancellation form (obtainable here) must be completed and postmarked prior to midnight of the third business day after today."

The form entitled "Exceed NOTICE OF CANCELLATION" stated "You may cancel this transaction, without Penalty or Obligation, within THREE BUSINESS DAYS from the above date." The transaction date was, of course, the day the man was at my house. It further read "To cancel this transaction, mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of this Cancellation Notice NOT LATER THAN MIDNIGHT OF the third business day following the date above to:" The form was pre filled out with Date of transaction, my mane and address, and did not have a line for Date. The only address is a Post Office box number, and yet it stated one could deliver the notice.

Several times the email and Cancellation form say you have three days, yet the representative said you could cancel anytime without obligation. Since it was the third day since I had initialed the man's tablet, I decided to copy the form, sign it, and mail it to the PO address listed on the cancellation form. I sent it regestered with notification of delivery sent to me.

The sobering thought to me was that greed had caused me to get involved wtih a scam. Shame on both me and Exceed. Me for being greedy, and Exceed LLC of America for being dishonest. Lesson learned!
