Exposing Johns Reviews

  • May 11, 2015

I had sent a text in response to a backpage ad for massage services requesting the masseuses rates. A few days later I received a text that my contact information, Facebook profile picture, and an image of my text stating "hello, what are your massage rates?" Was being posted to a site called exposingjohns.com. I went to the site to see all of this information and tried to delete the information, but messages appeared that I needed to pay them money to research the validity of the posting. Apparently, anyone can post on the site without any real evidence of illegal activity. I was appalled and noticed an ad for a removal service, so I called it. This service requested over a thousand dollars to remove the information a long with deleting it from search results. Again, I was appalled, said no, and did some more research. It appears that Exposingjohns.com is an extortion site that has preyed on many people. It's all over the Internet and many people have had their lives impacted by such a scam. I tried to contact the site directly to request my name be removed, but no answer. I have since changed my cell phone number, but my full name and picture still appear on the site. If one was to google my past number the site is the first link to appear in the search results. I've attempted to contact Google to try and remove the search result from their engine. I haven't heard back yet, but it hasn't been very long. I believe this site, who is operating in a foreign country using US Servers is maliciously attacking innocent people and should be shut down. Best regards, Chad
