Had a hot tub leak on my beachcomber. An "experienced technician" came out and worked about 2-3minutes (barely enough time to write the bill) and charged the minimum $125 then left.
It still leaked so I called back. And the guy on the phone said $125 is the minimum service price no matter what. He wanted to reschedule another "experienced technician"
Same thing. 2-3minutes of looking at the hot tub and a fat bill.
I did nothing with the hot tub over the winter.
The next season I took a look at it with no knowledge of hot tubs whatsoever ever and there is a clearly snapped hose bib. Completely obvious. Neither technician said anything. In fact they wanted to book another appointment saying it will be about $1500 no guarantee it would be fixed. the guy on the phone sounded knowledgeable, technicians however, not so much.
