Whether you're a writer, model, actress, or anything that can be of use to him, he will treat you disrespectfully and unprofessionally, to say the least. This man needs a vacation or perhaps a different career to achieve some sense of inner peace, not by trying to tell off actors who rightfully mention that raising headshot prices by $100 once they're in your studio is in fact, foul play. Now he's in Los Angeles being a slimy fraud, probably because he scammed enough people in NYC. I rightfully took my money elsewhere to a photographer who is honest and has more than 3 headshots that were done since the 90's. There are so many wonderful photographers out here, dont let this man intimidate and threaten you into giving him "your deposit in cash". He's a scoundrel, and I will be passing the message along to fellow actors and models in LA. Get back to where you once belonged, Frank.

Liar, scammer, all around bad news

My time with Frank Capri happened in 2011, but I am coming forward with this report now after recieving an email from someone else he scammed during that time. Frank was very unprfessional, incompetent at photography (he claimed to have been doing photography for 20 years) and down right mean to many of the models. He hired assistants and retouchers who were either inexperienced in photography, or barely spoke english ,all of whom were east Asian. His demeanor with east Asian women came across as lecherous and creepy, particularly since many of these girls were more than 40 years his junior.

He was very pushy, and an all around pain in the ass when it came to prepping the models for shooting. Would yell at the model for not posing correctly, unless they were there with a chaperone. Unbeknowst to me, he charged them an exorbitant amount of money, and promised to get them published and networked. He would not follow through. When I did get pictures from him (I barely got any) they were amateurish, and far from portfolio worthy.

He would claim to people on the phone to be everything from a fashion photographer, a space scientist, or a documentarian. He was also in my opinion very neglectful of his son, whom he could not even be bothered to pick up from school or help with school work. He claimed his ex-wife was a bipolar, and suicidal. Now looking back, she was probably a victim of his lies too.

I was not paid for any of my time with Frank, and spent well in excess of $1000 in transportation fees. I am not suprised he was sued in NYC, and fled to the west coast to continue scamming.

DO NOT do any business with this man!
