In the franklin county jail in columbus ohio/aka the workhouse, there are mulible problems. First we dont get no type of recreation. Were suppose to get 1 hour a day when we'll be lucky to get 1 hour every month in a half. Plus its very unsanitary. Also they dont wash our whites. We have to wash our own clothes in the shower. They hardly ever come to change our jail uniforms. They just throw us inside of tanks that hold like 30 people each tank and its always full with about 40 people per tank which leaves people sleeping on the floor. They just throw us in the tank whenwe get there like a bunch of dogs. Its just not right how we get treated.none of the tanks have cameras so someone could murder someone in one of the tanks and they could never know what happened because theres no cameras in the tanks they put us in. I just wish someone would dig deep to check into this. Its just not right. When im there its so lonely and its like u dont even exist on this earth its not right. Please help with these problems. Thanks

conditions

I was at the work house in the middle of June, while I have been in nicer accommodations I found the experience tolerable. Most deputies were professional a few were rude and two stood out as exemplary. They were deputies Walker and Beaty. The above deputies would help find out information for you if they could, and always checked on the inmates state of mind. My hats off to deputies Walker and Beatty.
