My wife and I are both elderly Disabled Veterans moving front Georgia to California. We looked at bids and G8 Van Lines was the lowest, promising a complete move of our items we inventoried at $1881.00. We vehad to pay a quarter of it down to reserve the truck, which we did. Then we had to pay the driver half of the balance when he arrived. The email, which I still have, promised all Uniformed drivers, etc. They showed up iny they call a rental truck and the inventory sheet they had was less than a third of our inventoried items. When we tried to bring up our inventory, it had been blanked from the records, and t h is was on a Sunday. There was no one we could reach about this. The next day someone who identified herself as Katy from Customer Service called to tell me that we now owed roughly three times the original quoted price to get our property, or even before they would ship it. When it arrived, boxes were missing and other valuable items. I'm a musician, performing in church now, and my Saxophone was lost, like losing a child. Please, please, stay away from these crooks. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the FTC with no satisfaction. Someone please help!!
