My fitness instructor recommended a dietary supplement product-line to me called Genesis Pure. Since there were no options to purchase their products through stores at the time, in order to purchase the products, I had to sign up for AutoPay which was part of a continuity program that is implemented by a pyramid scheme where each month, my credit card is automatically charged for dietary supplements that I choose and they are automatically shipped to my residence.

Shortly after logging into the website via their login portal https://extranet.securefreedom.com/genesispure/login.aspx for account management and to browse thorugh their product-line, I accidentally stumbled upon some critical security weaknesses (vulnerabilities) within the Genesis Pure web pages that could allow a malicious hacker to break into Genesis Pure customer accounts and extract personal information, modify account settings, and make purchases without the member's authorization. Please note that I did absolutely nothing to actively probe the security posture of the website. These things were discovered passively with no active security testing. To make matters worse, there was no option within the Genesis Pure membership web page that would allow me to remove my payment information. For a business to develop and run a website that relies on AutoPay as part of their business model to prevent users from deleting/modfiying payment information is completely outrageous.

Upon discovering these issues and confirming that I had absolutely no option to remove my creidt card information, my immediate reaction was to terminate my membership with Genesis Pure. I got on the phone with customer service and very clearly explained to them that I need to ""terminate my membership"" with Genesis Pure. I asked the customer service representative if we could do that over the phone immediately and he told me that in order to do so, I will need to fax and sign a letter to Genesis Pure. He emailed me the letter, and within that same day, I faxed the letter that clearly and concisely described my intention to terminate my Genesis Pure membership. Additionally, I faxed a letter that clearly and concisely described my intention to terminate my Genesis Pure membership. I even provided him with a follow-up phone call to confirm that he had received my fax along with my letter, and was assured that the membership was terminated.

Company founder, Lindsey Duncan, has been found guilty of fraud both by the Texas Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission. He has agreed to pay millions of dollars in fines and is legally banned from selling or promoting nutritional supplements.

FTC fines Duncan $9 million

Not only has the state of Texas criminally prosecuted Duncan for illegally calling himself a Doctor when he wasn't, now the federal government has found him guilty of a massive and complex fraud to illegally deceive the public about his products and his companies. He has been fined $9 million dollars and prohibited from selling or promoting supplements in the future.

Genesis Pure is a pyramid scheme, multi-level marketing company that signs people up with the intention of making money by signing even MORE people up with a product called Genesis Pure.

You get suckered by a person you otherwise trust and respect to go to a meeting, only to find it is a high powered effort to get you into a "managemetn chain". Classic pyramid scheme using multi-level marketing-- which has been found to be an illegal scheme by most attorneys general around the US.

The problem is that even when you try to get away from them, they keep hanging onto your credit card and periodically charge your credit card, I guess in hopes you won't find out and the amounts too small to file a class action lawsuit. Which is probably exactly what should happen to them.

After repeatedly calling and telling them to stop drafting on my credit card, I thought we had it behind us. Until I found they had tried to sneak yet another charge onto my credit card. I called the card company, had the charge contested, and had them put on a 'banned list' that can never charge my account ever again. I called the company to complain, yet again, and they told me I had to fill out a multi-page form to keep them from charging my account unlawfully in the future.

Total scumbags. AVOID Genesis Pure and their reps as though they had the plague-- because they DO - a plague on your credit card, a leech you will have a lot of trouble shaking off.

The products work. Dr. or Not.

I trust the state if Texas and I trust "Dr." Linsey Duncan. My trust of The State of Texas is based on my pride in being a Texas born American citizen. We Texans are a prideful people.

I trust the Genesis Pure products that work for me. Two products, Daily Build and Go-Yin taken for one month, daily as recommended, eliminated my need for seven prescriptions including insulin for diabetes that I have had since 1995 when my third boy if gestational diabetes did not terminate after the birth of my daughter. In 2012, I was introduced to the Genesis Pure products by my own insistence of info of products that my chiropractor had on display and had offered samples to me.

I became an "IBO" or Independent Business Owner on a special that has now run two or three times a year as a "free membership" that allows me to purchase products at 25 or more percent off of retail price listed on www.genesispure.com website.

I have not had an "auto-ship" and have ordered products directly or purchased through eBay. If course, purchasing through eBay does not require a Genesis Pure Membership. I have NEVER been falsely charged.

I will continue to order products from Genesis Pure, because they work for me. I use the products Energy for natural energy eliminating a want of Monster drinks. I use this product alone or with EV2 and Hydration. The three packets when added to 8-16 oz of water are valuable on long distance trips. I also use Hydration when I have become mildly dehydrated and the results are amazing compared to pedialyte or bottled water.

Additionally, I have personal met persons whose personal testimonies on the use of several different products has made me believe in the products sold by Genesis Pure.

The products are not inexpensive, however additionally, they are not cheap imitations of any other nutritional products. Personally, I wish that Sam's Club , WalMart or Costco would offer these products to their members or shoppers.

The company often offers specials to their members and on large orders, they eliminate shipping charges.

There will be people who are dissatisfied consumers, but I am not one of them.

My testimony is a part of www.genesispure/shirleyoppenheimer. My name is Jeannine Gatto. The product Organic Green Coffee was the catalyst to get me off of a weight loss stabilization that I could not conquer. Within one month, I lost fourteen pounds and never looked back. Today, I have lost 54 pounds and no longer take that product. I have not gained the weight I lost having lost about five pounds a month until I reached my goal weight. I recommend this product to anyone wanting a natural catalyst to their own weight loss.

Sincerely,

Mean in Gatti

A little Truth

I am a currant IBO and I do feel cheated for several reasons below is the biggest... I trusted Lindsey.

On October 15, 2014 Dr. Lindsey DuncanTexas Attorney General Greg Abbott charged Austin resident Robert Lindsey Duncan the CEO Of Genesis Pure with unlawfully referring to himself as a naturopathic doctor in order to market and sell various nutritional products. Appearing on numerous nationally-broadcast television programs to promote vitamins, herbs and related health products, Lindsey Duncan falsely refers to himself as “Dr. Duncan,” “Doctor” or “ND” – despite not having the legal authority to make such representations.

According to court documents filed by the State of Texas, the defendant claims to have a “doctorate” degree in naturopathy from the now-closed Clayton College of Natural Health. Clayton College – an unaccredited, distance-learning natural health college that was based in Birmingham, Ala. – is specifically named on a list posted by The Higher Education Coordination Board of “Institutions Whose Degrees Are Illegal to Use in Texas.” The State’s legal action charged that Duncan’s alleged “doctorate” degree – awarded by a so-called college that was not properly accredited in Texas or any other state during its existence – is not recognized under Texas law, making his continued references to himself as a “doctor” false, misleading and deceptive.

The State’s investigation also found that Duncan falsely presents himself as a health practitioner in media interviews, television show appearances, presentations, and video promotions by donning lab coats and making references to clinical experience and practice – deceptive conduct that intentionally misleads viewers into believing that he is disseminating health advice and knowledge about the nutritional products he is promoting and in which he has a financial interest. – Source Texasattorneygeneral.gov

Lindsey is a ASSHAT but that being said, the products I have used work. You don't have to join. You can just buy the products.
