George Obregon Reviews

  • Mar 5, 2015

Jorge L Obregon Rodriguez AKA: George Obregon is a thief. He stole our business model, our business plan, our real estate web designs and every idea of ours.

What Jorge Obregon did is a crime and stealing intellectual property is cheap and easy. All a thief like him has to do is copy our ideas and product and sell it as his own. We have done all the work, but thieves like Jorge Obregon are reaping huge profits for doing this. Intellectual property theft can cost people their jobs and damage our reputation as the original makers of the product.

Intellectual theft it isn’t a victimless crime.

He was hired by my company "Crea7e, Inc. to develop an application in its very early stages and to also build real estate websites.

Jorge is originally from Cuba and he got just gotten to the U.S. when we hired him 4 years ago. We had nothing but empathy for him and without much investigation we decided to help him by hiring him right away.

He was an ok developer but he was willing to learn our business model and the way we were changing the way real estate works online.

He started implementing his own system to develop the application and since we trusted him he managed to convince us that his way to write code was more effective than the way our main programmer was doing it. Our lead programmer warned us about Jorge and left by telling us that he was going to bring the company down sooner than later.

Jorge suggested that the team leader signed a non-competition agreement so he wouldn't use what he had developed for us. He was afraid he would develop his own version of the application and sell it as well. He just wanted to legally make sure our main developer wouldn't commit intellectual property theft.

Jorge became our business partner as soon as our main developer signed the Non-Competition agreement. We added him to the company in Sunbiz.org and officially became 33% part owner of Crea7e, Inc.

4 years went by and Jorge learned the business model very well. He even asked us (the sales team) to bring him along to the sales meetings so he would learn the way we interacted with clients and did the sales. He became lazy in the way he updated the application and his work was getting poorer and poorer every day. He refused to even meet to work on the application and instead of meeting with us to work, he even started cheating on his wife with two different women. He simply told his wife he was going to work while he was having two different affairs.

Jorge's lack of interest became very obvious and the application stopped being updated, thus making clients very upset and little by little, all the clients started cancelling their memberships. At the same time, he was taking his real estate license without informing us so he could become an agent. Jorge Obregon knew of the conflict of interest that would've caused so he decided to keep quiet.

He finally became an agent with Century Real Estate Services in Doral and completely stopped working on the application and in the developing of our clients’ websites. He had gathered all the knowledge and inside information to start his own IDX Solution "Top IDX" and dump our partnership as if we had never met.

Jorge Obregon sent an email to the company announcing his detachment from every responsibility and asked in the email to please take him off the company. His lack of information made him believe that a simple email was sufficient to legally get away with not paying the company's taxes for 2015 or to finish all the worked paid in advance to him to develop not only the application but also several real estate websites for our clients.

Jorge Obregon had a plan. He wanted to learn the business, learn how to sell the application, take his real estate license to get the database from the Miami Board of Realtors and to stop developing the application so he could give us a kick in the butt and start his own company.

Not only he stopped developing our application, he also erased part of the code so our application would stop updating automatically or manually. He developed his own application (now on steroids) and even claimed that the one he developed for us was built by him the "Cuban way", which meant in such a messy way that no other developer would be able to understand the code and also with every error because he didn't know better.

Today he has a website where he even showcases our own portfolio and claims is his own. He refused to sign the same form he made our ex team developer sign so he wouldn't do exactly what he did to us.

Jorge refuses to pay taxes on the money he earned with us and got paid in advanced and he is even contacting each of our members to tell them that he is no longer with Crea7e, Inc. AKA: CREW Miami. He explains that he was the developer of the application and that his new one actually works. He even goes as far as claiming that he created the concept and that also the designs of the websites on his portfolio are his own. Jorge Obregon never designed anything that he showcases in his website and the business model he follows is the one he learned from us. The technology, ideas, design and structure of his business are 100% Crea7e's intellectual property.

Jorge L Obregon Rodriguez AKA: George Obregon with TOP IDX is a thief and a coward. He soon forgot the day he had nothing to eat and nothing to wear. He fed him, he clothed him and we treated him like a brother to us. He has stolen every idea and concept we paid him to develop and now he is even trying to put us out of business by calling our own clients.

He is being sued for intellectual property theft and we will make him pay for all our attorney’s fees. He is even illegally taking the database from the Miami Board of Realtors and his only reason to become an agent was to have access to that database as a member. He hasn't actually signed an agreement with Robert Saddler as an affiliate. He is simply taking the RETS feeds as an agent and illegally profiting from them.

He will face the consequences of his own acts.
