You can ditto almost word for word the experience our small business has had with Global Data Specialists. We did not realize until October 2014 that Global Data Specialists can not longer be contacted because the phone number belongs to a company in Arizona. We are also attempting to get our Attorney General involved. But really this should be a federal matter since it involves interstate commerce.
Just like the report before mine. This place is a total scam, word for word same experience as the others that filed reports. I was told my credit card company was over charging me and they would give me a refund. I never got a dime. The credit card machine they sent me does not work with my company. I was told I could cancel anytime but I can't cause I have a false contract with northern leasing that someone else signed my name to. I have tried to call data specialists they now wont even answer the phone.

Well long story short, once you sign a contract with them it is actually with Northern Leasing. When I called Northern Leasing to get a copy of my contract all the signatures were not mine. Someone forged my initals and signatures on all the documents including 3 I have never seen. I have the original I filled out and faxed back to them, also the email with the contract missing those 3 extra pages.
I have called Global Data to have them cancel my contract and surprise they wont take my call. Funny how nice they were when I first joined now that I want out I can't find anyone to talk to. I have filed a police report and now trying to get out the contract with Northern Leasing which is a task also.
I had the same bad experience with Global Data Specialists and Northern Leasing. I was completely misled and deceived into believing that I had been "red flagged" and been overcharged for my past processing. I was promised they would get me a refund, get the old contract cancelled, and set me up with new equipment. All that ended up happening was they sent me a card terminal that was the wrong type AND set me up with another contract with Northern Leasing who is who I was already with! I am unable to get anyone there to speak to me and am being harassed now by Northern Leasing. I have continued to pay on the original contract but have refused to pay the "duplicate" one so now they are threatening to sue. They claim that Global Data Specialists does not work for them but I do not believe that. If that were the case why would they have let this happen to an existing customer? I have contacted my state attorney general so hopefully they can help. It's hard enough being a small business without low life companies such as these two taking advantage of honest people.
