Horrible Experience

2010 Buick Lacrosse would not start, ( for the 2nd time). First time car would not start, Roadside Assistance was called. A tow truck was sent out. When the tow truck driver arrived, he was pissed off that the number he was calling to reach me would not go thru. When asked what number he had, it turned out to be a totally incorrect number. This was my first bad experience w/ Buick Roadside Assistance.

Second time Road side assistance was called was for the same issue. It was a Saturday night and vehicle would not start again. Called Roadside assistance. I spoke with "Tony." He seemed like he wanted to help, but when I asked about transportation until the tow truck would arrive, 2 days later, he said he would place me on hold and check.... then the call disconnected. I called back Roadside assistance, and this time spoke with a lady, I do not recall her name. I explained that I just spoke w/ Tony, but the call was disconnected. I explained my situation again. She seemed to be aware that I spoke w/ Tony, but soon became what seemed very agitated, and short w/ me. She became even more enraged when I quoted the Roadside assistance guidelines, stated in the owners manual, and how "my experience" was not as described a "buick experience" should be. Bottom line, she told me a tow truck would arrive Monday morning to have the vehicle taken to a dealer. Monday, morning comes, no tow truck arrives. I called Roadside Assistance to check the status, and I was told that there was " no record" that a tow truck was to be dispatched. Roadside Assistance did not know what to say when I gave them my confirmation number.

What I learned form the Roadside Assistance: Horrible experience, very poor customer service, lack to attention to detail, lies, no consideration, no cooperation. I could go on and on. It is hard to believe that the people working for Roadside assistance are able to keep a job, being so bad at handling such a situation.

Gmc refuses to reimburse for taxi service to bring family to safety post breakdown on the side of the highway. Toe truck comes, kids can't fit, so we call taxi. Roadside claims to cover while on the side of the road. 6 months later still, after no $. Will never buy one of their vehicles again. Lose customer over a $70 taxi ride. No wonder they can't compete.
