So I'm paying 160.00 a month for full coverage. I decide that its unnecessary and I can save that money myself. So I call to cancel today and the guy of course doesnt want me to cancel. He starts dropping my monthly price as im telling him that I just want to cancel. first it was $113.00 then he dropped it to $96.00 a month. From 160.00 yeah thats tempting but at this point I just want to be done with it. After 20 minutes of that he finally says "i'll email you the directions on how to cancel" I said ok but thought that was a little weird. So I hop on and check my email and this is what it says:

Hello,

Here are the steps needed to cancel your policy:

1. On a blank piece of paper, please write “I, (your name), would like to cancel my contract (number) because of (reason for cancellation).”

2. Under those words, you must SIGN & DATE the document. **IMPORTANT** Plan will NOT be cancelled without the complete information **IMPORTANT**

3. Also, you must include a verifiable document showing the vehicle’s current mileage within the last 30 days. This can be anything from a recent oil change receipt or repair estimate to a notarized affidavit verifying mileage at the time of request. If you don’t have one, you can stop by any auto repair facility and they will provide one for you free of charge.

4. Mail the documents to: Dealer Services P.O. BOX 223, Allenhurst, NJ 07711

Once the documents are received, your cancellation will be processed.

*PLEASE NOTE: This is a NO-REPLY e-mail address. Any replies made to this e-mail will be undeliverable. If you have questions or want to check on the status of your cancellation, please CALL 1-800-599-9557*

Why must I do this!?! So you can get another month or two of payments out of me? Check the status of my cancellation? JUST CANCEL IT!!!

So now I have to go get some peice of paper and get ahold of my contract number and mail this stuff in and wait for my cancelation to be "processed". God knows how long that will take. Save yourself the time and more inportantly the money and take your business elsewhere.
