My wife got a call from her Dad who struggles with heart problems and doesn't need to be getting threatening phone calls and being told things that could scare him. She obviously did her research and figured out that GR SERVICES and 205-594-6002 is a FAKE debt collector. The things that this lady was saying and threatening are obviously so far from being LEGAL that even if she had a case against my wife the courts would laugh this supposed company out of the room. They have nothing to stand on. They buy information from different avenues on someone then do internet searches to find next of kin.
Rather than doing what the LAW says to do: contacting the original debtor, sending VALID proof of the debt through US Mail and NOT speaking to others about the debt....they break the law. There is absolutely no information out there concerning the name of their company much less can you find who owns the phone number because they are FAKE!
Eventually the names will change and the phone numbers will change. However sadly someone will give in and pay these people their SCAM money. The lady says her name is Pam Greenburg/Greenberg. She does no listening at all, yells, screams and calls you names. She makes threats and allegations and speaks to other people about the information of your supposed debt.
