Grammer Industries, Inc. Reviews

I want to address Grammer's induction of a new driver before moving into the finanacial part of the report. My orientation was supposed to last 3 days but was cut a day short so the director of safety that taught the class could go on vacation as it started on a Friday. Paul Baute gave myself and the other driver the answers to 3 to 5 quizes so we could "pass" the tests and we would be "trained". My question is if the man was going on vacation then why did Grammer not reschedule the orientation for after vacation or back things up a day? Why did safety intentionly cheat the driver?

It was high pressure from the start to complete everything and be proficient on all tasks now so that we could drive on our own now. Its all about generating revenue for the company and screwing the driver who is the source of revenue for all trucking companies. I left after 3 1/2 weeks as the terminal manager Mike Morrison brow beat me so much about every little mistake I didn't want to go to work anymore and gave a notice. You can't brow beat someone to do things the right way!

After I left, the chief of payroll called me August 1st and informed me that Grammer had overpaid me by $526.32 and they were going to debit my bank account anyway to recover their funds and it was already done. Unfortunatly I didn't find out about a hard hold on my bank account until it was too late. Let me explain; a hard hold on an account means the account holder has put the account on lockdown. No funds go in or out until the account is unlocked by the consumer.

If this ever happens to you, don't say a word just let them do their thing and report that business to your bank for committing a fraudulent transaction. The consumer must authorize whoever to withdraw from your bank account!

Grammer Industries will take money from you the driver. Grammer has a shoddy orientation program that cheats the driver. My wife and I used to think Grammer cared about the driver but my suspicions were right, a bad company!
