Do not use GrubHub or it's affiliate Seamless. They are rip off artists. It can be very appealing but I promise you, they have incorrect information on their site and will not refund your money despite promising you that.

Came home late from work exhausted, so ordred Grub Hub (which admittedly we do A LOT!!) No more!! They sent me their text & email confirming our order. I get back from the laundry room to a message from the restaurant saying they were already closed (Grub Hub has the wrong info on their site) and now I scrambled to find another place still open to order from....same thing happens AGAIN with the next place.

Thank goodness both restaurants made the effort to call me! (I have since learned from other unhappy customers, you can wait for hours before finding out your order did not go through.

Ordered from an all night diner. On the phone with GH customer service who tell me the first two orders will be refunded and the 3rd is 'on them' for my inconvenience. Well they agreed after I kindly suggested they 'fix their system' so my card would NOT be charged until I received my order (kind of like when you do online shopping - card is not charged till items are shipped or confirmed delivered - and you can track them!).

Also I suggested to GrubHub (GH) that they update their info AND that they not confirm with me until somehow the restaurant confirms all is really in the works. Ok, fast forward one month later; not only has my card NOT been refunded -- I have been charged for ALL THREE orders (including the one they said was 'on them')

AND I was also charged MORE MONEY for the first two, which after reading the many negative reviews, I realize they do!! Funny how the one order whose total remained the same on my bank statement and on my account on GH was the one they were supposed to be picking up the tab for.

I have since been on the phone with customer service, supervisors - all who keep telling me they did refund me and to call my bank. I kept one supervisor on hold while I called my bank from another phone. NO REFUND. Supervisor at GrubHub promised their 'credit card department' would call me back (I gave all numbers to contact me) Nothing. Days now. I have contacted them in every way. No response now and still no refund.

I now see SO MANY COMPLAINTS about the same thing online. Also that they have secret charges which will not appear on your online account with them - but WILL appear on your bank statement. Check it!

I am sorry to have to say it, cause it really was seemingly a nice convenience but guess what? NEVER AGAIN. Be warned!!
