Havoline Xpress Lube Reviews

On July 6, 2013, I was serviced at HAVOLINE XPRESS LUBE #1013, 1953 HOWELL MILL RD., ATLANTA, GA 30318, 404-351-6363, for a complete oil change before driving to New York City to take care of a sick relative. When it was time for me to get new oil change in NYC, I had a problem with serveral businessed in NYC, refusing to service me, due to the location in Atlanta, GA screwed on a bolt with Tied Rod End Nut to the oil pan and it was leaking oil from that nut. This was not the original the original nut that came with the oil pan. I was not notified that such was done to my car.

Since I had not driven my car much, due to NYC transit system and could not get an oil change, because of the above situation, I decided to wait until I return to Atlanta, Ga to get this situation resolved.

Before returning to Atlanta, Ga, I had my car looked at before taking the long drive. Unfortunately, it was determined that the oil pan had to be replaced with a new one, due to leaking oil from the nut that was placed on my car.

It was told to me that I will not arrive safely from NYC to Atlanta, Ga with such an oil leak. I had to purchase a new oil pan which cost $243.45 and $135.00 to Remove & Replace Oil Pan/Gasket at the City Petro Service Center in NYC. The oil pan that had to be replaced only had 2 quarts of oil in pan, which should had been 4 quarts of oil and only 2 threads, which should at least had 4 threads where the nut is screwed in.

Upon my arrival in Atlanta, Ga, on July 2, 2014, I immediately returned to the location on HOWELL MILL RD., that serviced my car on July 6, 2013. I spoke to the Manager, Chris humphrey about my situation and he was very unprofessional and rude to me. He immediately said there was nothing that could be done with the situation.

I called back to the location on the next day and asked to speak with upper management and not to Chris Humphrey whom I spoke with the previous day. The person said that he was Chris Humphrey boss and he had heard about my situation and to bring in the oil pan to be looked at. I followed up a couple of days later about the situation and the same person I told to answered the phone and said nothing is wrong with my oil pan and unfortunately nothing can be done. I then said I would seek other measures and he said "Do What You Need To Do".

When I went to pick up the oil pan, I realized I was mislead by Chris Humphrey and it was Chris Humphrey I was speaking to over the phone all the time. I then asked again, can I speak to upper management and he said "Everything Stops With Him". I could not at all get this situation resolved and was definately ripped off.
