First of the charge you 2500 for their service. At first they told me it was going to go towards my house downpayment and it was going to start my pre aproval process. Once I had choosen the house I was ready to buy they told me that I had misunderstood them. The 2500 was a non refundable fee to get help from the program not to mention they have a high 9.9 interest fee on your loans.
I made an offer to the sellers of the house I liked. I gave them the earnest money and mailed the excuted contract to HBI. I also got my inspection done.My closing date was on Jun.5 and HBI was ok with it.They ask me for my down payment on Jun.3 and they assure me I was going to have my keys.When Jun. 5 came nothing happen no calls nothing. Finally after reaching them and going to their office they told me they needed a three week extesion. The sellers agreed to the three week extension and when our second attepnt for the closing came they did the same thing.They asked for extra time and yet they were saying that they were having problems with the investor.They also wanted to get rid of my realtor and get their own.Suspicious.
I honestly don't think they eve tried.They said that suppostly they stay late and worked hard to make my closing happen then why didnt we close. Everything was ready and settle.We were just waiting for them. What was the problem?Not enough investors?Then why are they taking all the clients money.I finally told them I wanted my money back and I didn't want to work with them.They return my down payment and my earnest money but they kept my 2500 for a service they never provided.So there it is they made 2500 easy.Money that was given to my daughter after her brain tummor was removed, but now they kept it for doing nothing. I even spend 400 on the inspection that I will never get back and wasted time, and gas.
What can you expect if one of the persons that works there is Gary L Cain. Search for his fraud case in San Antonio and then decided if you truly want to work with them.
