Please do not go to this dodgy phone repair shop. I can't speak for the other location but this particular shop is the worse! customer service is fine until I had to come back 3 hours later to have something redone!
Let me elaborate...
My wife cracked her LCD screen and not her glass screen on the Samsung galaxy s4, went to ""Hi Touch"" im forest hill shopping center to have it replaced. They would not replace just the LCD but both the screens and LCD. Fair enough maybe that how they come... Cost me $240 by cash or $260 by eftpost.
Of course I paid $240 but obviously they will NOT declare this sale to the tax man. Dodgy number 1!
They replaced the screen and and LCD 1 hour later then expected (had to wait and extra hour) poor service! Prior picking up the phone I got a phone call saying the sensor on the phone that turns the screen off and on while your on a call is not work and they replaced it and still was not working. There was no problem with that sensor before the screen was cracked. So I though it may have busted when my wife cracked the LCD. I let this one go.
The screen had adhesive on the screen and took forever to clean and I then realize the the screen was not sitting down all the way to the phone itself., the return button would not work on the first touch! Only on the 3rd or 4th touch. So I called and they said sorry bring it in and we will have a look at it. Awesome! Went back in and asked to give them 30mins.came back after 30mins and the she said she did the best should could the sides sit find but below the home button the glass would not sit in. She said if she glued that area down it would make the home button stick also. And but the return button wouldn't work again! I said I paid 240 and this is not in the condition it should be in. All I got from her was. ""You gotta understand this is just a repair"" what the fuck ? Are you kidding me! If your willing to take 240 from someone for a service that your giving! It should be in better condition when we left it with you!
The wife and I decided to let it go as she needs the phone to go overseas that night and they were closing. Got home and used her phone. Pushed the home button and cracked the screen! Gotta be fucking kidding me! Go fuck yourselves you dodge girls at Hi Touch forest hill!
I hope this gets around and they lose all their customers! II wouldn't want anyone getting a shit service! Or I hope the tax man audits them! Check her pockets I'm sure there is a massive book of a list of people she has ripped off!
