i was NOT in the market for a car as I had a 2003 BMW and a 2007 Mustang convertible at the time. I let him talk me into seeing a 2006 BMW 6 series convertible.
since I had purchased 4 cars from them, they knew I was an easy mark...an admitted car addict.
i was on Social Security disability and still am. I couldnt use the car after a year due to Fibromyalgia and Arthritis.
I leased the car and stupidly put the $27,000 I received for my 2 cars and put it down on the 650 because I couldn't afford the payments.
i was not cautioned about the many consequences if doing that.
They told me to lie about my employment status. Admittedly I complied.
In one year I put 1100 miles on the car. I even added LoJack. When I turned the car in, they KEPT $25,000, all this in mid-2008, the county, Burlington County exchanged letters but eventually the GM stopped responding.
im trying to find a lawyer to take this case. I filed a claim with the Nj Consumer Affairs dept and havent heard from them yet.

im 67 and have a 17 year old son...no money for college or inheritance.
