They promise that the leads are guaranteed to get the agent a policy. If they don't result in a policy, then the agent can get a replacement for the lead at no charge. The only problem is, all the leads are crap. The clients that we were able to get a hold of said they had no intention of switching their insurance and questioned how we got their number. The vast majority simply did not return our call.

We spent $480 which was a complete waste of money!

Like the others who have posted I can only beleive that the company has no intention of provding valid leads. The program appears to be bogus, phony and deceptive. Not only to the agency but also to the consumers we have tried to call. Leads are not up to date, people have moved more than a year ago, consumers have never been contacted to expect a call from our agency, Don't do business with these people! Don't waste your money!

Abraham Evans with Homeowners Advance called offering homeowner insurance leads for people refered by lenders who were funded and closing on a home purchase and looking for insurance. We were to call these leads at a pre set appointment time. Same promises as all the other reports, We are guaranteed to write 50 policies in about 45-90 days off the leads and any that don't result in a written policy will be replaced free of charge. We paid $660 by check on 9-19-14.

1 lead a day Monday thru Thursday with all their info verified and expecting a call at the appointed time. First two leads came in on 10-2 & 10-6-14 and when we called them neither were expecting a call from us, buying a house or wanting an insurance quote. The only accurate details were the name and phone number which anyone can get out of a phone directory. I went to the tax district and looked up the address and both of these people already owned these homes.

I sent a an email to Abraham with the exact details of both calls and received an email response from a Michell Smith saying we must be calling them and saying the wrong thing or doing something else wrong and don't use search engine photos or tax assessor records as these sites are 50% wrong. I responded that she did not address my complaint that neither of these leads were buying a home and neither were expecting a call from us.

Next lead was already here so I called him at the appointed time and he was polite but informed me he was not expecting a call from anyone, he has owned that home since 2010, he is not buying a home, he is not even refinancing a home and he was perfectly happy with his insurance carrier and had no interest in a quote. I called Abraham and he asked me to give him a few days to look into it and tweak the telemarketing crew.

This kinda of back and forth continued on for weeks and we continued calling every one of the contacts and the results were the same. On 11-13-14 I sent another email to Abraham requesting a full refund as not one lead had met the criteria he sold me. Some of the leads did not even own a home and had no intention of buying one and some of the phone numbers were no good. I received an email response the next day from a Janet Hayden saying the person in charge of the refund was on vacation and will return by Dec 15 and she will leave her a message.

I responded that this was unacceptable and asked for the name of the owner and their contact information. After about 6 hours with no response I sent Abraham another email saying he was the one who misled me and asking him who I needed to talk to today to get this resolved or that I was going to start complaing to anyone and everyone who would listen.

Within 10 minutes Abraham called me and asked since this was a Friday and people he needed to talk to were not there to give him until Tuesday to resolve. I agreed. On Tuesday 11-18 I called Abraham late in the day as I had not heard from him and he said someone was supposed to fax me over a refund request to sign. He did it and I signed it and sent it back. I was returned to me counter signed by Ashley Ward and stated I would be getting a full refund of the $660.

IO have called and emailed every week since and no refund and no response aznd now they have moved on

Company claimed to send daily lead "appointments" where clients were looking to get a homeowners insurance quote. After receiving leads for a couple weeks, it was obvious that none of these clients were aware of any appointment and not looking to get a quote for homeowners insurance. The clients we actually did get intouch with got angry we were calling them in the first place.

Homeowners Advance claimed these clients had recently bought a new home or refinanced and were interested in getting insurance quotes. We questioned the clients who were willing to speak to us if they did indeed recently refinance or buy a new home, the response was neither.

I did try to contact Homeowners Advance for an explanation but none of the multiple calls or emails were returned. This company is a SCAM and definitely a waste of money and time. Would like to send them a bill for lost time calling these "leads" and requesting the next "replacement appointment".

Homeowners Advance is a Mortgage Networking Firm, a middle man, obtaining clients through our number 1 listings on Google/Yahoo. We offer them a direct connection on a national basis through prime lenders to obtain their home loans. These lenders are now sending the funded clients with homes picked out back to us to be connected with one exclusive agent in their area. The clients have requested to speak with a local agent for their insurance needs. These clients fit in three categories – Clients who are looking for a competitive quote due to a sharp rise in their current insurance policy costs and through our marketing to contractors, real estate agents and moving companies – relocation people or people looking for home insurance for the first time. ( They will not all be first time buyers.) We guarantee in writing the agencies we team up with will be….

.The individual/alone agent in the area to contact these clients.

.That agency will write 20 -- 50 new policies in about 45 - 90 business days with no cut off point. This depends on the amount of policies purchased and if they call at the appointment time and sell the client.

The process to create your agencies new client base is as follows…..

Once the client has agreed to hear from our affiliate agency, they fill out an application. ( SAMPLE APP’S ABOVE ) we retrieve these and pre screen the client to verify the information. Then set a phone appointment time for the agency to reach the client. The appointment times are set during the normal working hours of an agency. We then supply the client, our exclusive agencies name that is to contact them. Within 24hrs of verification we send 1 application per day Mon – Thurs. to that agencies email.

When you write their policies and cross sell them every way you can. You have earned a new client. We will then receive a small percentage of the closings from the lender that supplied that client. Two separate financial entities. You make your money from the client we make ours from that lender. The more you write, the more we earn together.

We replace any client that does not result in a written policy, at no additional cost – no monthly fee’s to keep the program going until the agency has written all client policies paid for. The agency will have to reach out to multiple clients to write that amount of business. You purchase 20 – 50 policies these are not just names and numbers with no results. We offer a 100% return on investment. We replace all those that do not result in a Home/Life policy until the agency reaches its purchased policy goal. The agency must write all total client policies purchased in actual policies.

This will take a period of time to accomplish, about 45 – 90 business day’s. Not every person sent can result in a policy, but any agency can write at least 20 – 50 policies thru this program. Not every person will result in a policy - so if the client - changes their mind, already obtained insurance, not answer at the appointment time, the client goes in another direction, to many claims...etc - we will replace them.

The agency can lock out zip codes ( 5 - 6 ) the County or Counties or a 10 – 30 mile radius of the office zip code. That choice is made for the one only agent we supply to contact the clients.

Please contact.… Abraham Evans, Marketing Director (213) 928-7854 -- 7am -- 3:30pm PST M - F www.homeownersadvance.com

What was actually provided to me so far has consisted of wrong numbers, people that have passed away, and angry or non-interested people on the other end, when I actually was able to get a hold of someone.

I believe the company doesn't actually provide valid leads, but rather is a nafarious operation that hopes through the terms of the signed contract to simply wear agents down so that they will not dispute the charges with paypal/credit card. They do this by claiming they will continue to provide leads free of charge, BUT that the agent must call the leads they provide at what they claim is an appointment time.

I think it's a ruse in order to claim legitamacy and avoid criminal exposure.

I have contacted Paypal and if you have been a vicimized, please contact me as I'm preparing documentation to present to the CA AG's office as well as the local police in Encino.
