Bought the franchise from Hotels.tv , the person who sold it to me promised me that I would get business in making reservations from clients in three months time.
But it is been almost a year but did not make even a single penny.
The CEO of the company, Harrison never visited Chicago to get me some leads, everything is online, the fees is high.
The person who promised that I will be making money in 3 months time quit the company soon after I signed the deal.
I was promised by the same person that money will be returned back if I do not make any business, but they backed out.
Very frustrating journey with them, lost a lot of money.
I had a similar experience. The salesman for Hotels.TV claimed there were over 260 Hotels out there just waiting and when hesitating in the purchase process he said, "All you are doing is helping people find accommodation." It was also claimed you can start earning within two weeks and there was a full money back guarantee. I signed on a payment scheme thinking it was a turnkey business as stated. It turned out there was a lot of cold calling, very little if any turn key and when I wanted to pull out out and receive a return of investment they said I didn't follow their investment model as their out....so I do lose...not much thankfully but would have lost more had a I stayed in. I realised this franchise is not for me, received little help or promotion on my behalf despite putting a lot of effort into web page, Facebook, Twitter and blogs. ....also trying to chase up leads and contacting hotels. They made it seem so simple whereas it is a job for the experienced sales person with a hotel background. So be wary.
