The Worst

They have had our insurance check for over 4 months now and keep sending us in circles to get it paid back to us. We already completed and paid for all the work and sent them all necessary paper work. They have even sent an inspector out to verify it was completed (even though our insurance company already did) and still refuse to send the check back after we passed the inspection. Everyone we talk to there is very rude and not understanding of the situation, each time we call they say they forgot about another form or they are waiting on to process the paper work. We do not just have a spare $10,000 laying around and need this money to live, I am at a loss on why they will not pay out the money.

Horrible Process

My mortgage company uses these people as well. Everytime I submitted my contractors license, they kept kicking it back saying it was a "receipt". Finally on the 7th call I told them if they called the city where the contractor got their license they could actually verify it, rather than assume a licensure has to look a certain way. Finally they send me up to "resolution" department and actually input the license number into a system and verified it was a license and not a freaking receipt. Then I get cut the first check which is only 25% of the entire check. I'm like how are contractors suppose to buy supplies to do their job, because I sure wasn't coming out of pocket! The job was only a two day job, so 50% inspectation take a whole 6 days to schedule and then another 3 days for these claim check people to verify the inspectors report and send out the money. So a two day job, turns into a 3 weeks job. This company is just horrible!!!!!!

Refuse to Release Insurance Check Owed to Insured who PAID IN ADVANCE of Insurance Check

I had water damage to my house. I paid for the repair in ADVANCE of the Insurance. I sent over 50 pages to Insurance Claim Check and they refuse to RELEASE The Insurance Check. My Insurance Adjuster said file a complaint with the State Insurance Commissioner. They have ignorant reps answering the phone saying over and over there will be a 2-3 mintute wait. Instead there is a 45 minute wait. When you ask them a question or try to tell them you PAID IN ADVANCE of the Insurance CHeck and there are 50 pages of Proof on their website, the Women become combative and threaten to hang up or even call authorities. In fact, they did. I was shocked. They harrass the person who has a mortgage, they yell at you, play dumb and just repeat the same thing over again. They give you wrong information and play dumb. Yet, they act like they know everything. THEY HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHT TO WITHOLD INSURANCE MONEY OWED TO THE INSURED who paid for damages in advance of insurance money. I RECOMMEND you FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE SOUTH CAROLINA POLICE DEPT FOR STEALING YOUR MONEY OWED TO YOU. ALSO, YOU CAN FILE A FEDERAL ACTION AGAINST THEM.

Strack Homes

I have been in this business for over 37 years and I know that mortgage companies love to hold insurance claim monies as long as possible. However, this company takes this to extremes. Our customers have paid 70K of their own money to start repairs on a 200K claim. We will be finished in three weeks and the customers have yet to receive their first draw. It's really sad that this isn't illegal. We are off to file complaints and take any and all legal action we can.

How this company is still ripping off costumers?

After I got the check from my insurance at the end of November 2017, they instructed me to mail the check to insuranceclaimcheck.com. The repairs were done the inspection approved since Jan 11. On the website it says after inspections are approved it will take 3 to 5 business days to disbursed the money. I called Jan 26, 2018 they told me I needed it to wait 7 to 10 business days to get an answer from the upper management. To find out when the rest of the money will be disbursed. Today after 10 business days, I called and they did not have and answer. So they offer me to put in another request to gain more time. I request to talked to a supervisor waited 28 min on the phone and they offered plenty of excuses. But they did not transfer me to a supervisor and they told me I couldnot talk to anyone on the upper management department as well. The next day I called, and to gain more time in order to talk to a supervisor they need to submit a request that can take 24 to 48 hours.

If you goggle insuranceclaim.com and read the reviews They only have bad reviews. I read horrible stories how they hold people's money to earn interest on it. It is extremely frustrating.

Horrible, Disgusting Continued Service! Normal for them!

The one star reviews are correct! I had a better experience standing in two feet of flood water in my home and watching all my new furniture destroyed than dealing with these morans. They do not care about you. They only read what is placed by departments you can not contact for correct information. They continually lie to you. And they say they are following government process's and procedures. OMG really?

Unbelieveable Run Around

We've been dealing with insuranceclaimcheck.com since August 31st, 2018. As of Feb 13th, we have STILL yet to receive our check. We have had nothing but problems with the process, and given their tagline states "obtaining your claim funds just got easier", it's a joke. The run-around starts with the documents you need to 'upload' to your portal. Once you've 'uploaded' and received a prompt it's been received, you wait the needed 24-48 hours until it is slotted to hit your account. Then, in 2 days, you call because those documents don't load to your site. "Oh, sorry, our site's a little finicky. Can you try to re-upload?" This process will take place for the extent of your claim. I've uploaded our documents over 17 times(!!!) and those as just the ones that the portal shows me. Additionally, because I now call almost daily, you will hear "...you need to wait 3-5 business days for your check to clear" - clear from where? I've had reps tell me the check had had to clear for the last 3 weeks. AND, this is after they put the check into someone else's account and had to FIND it in their system. I wish I was making this up. This site does nothing but make contractors think you're trying to scam them out of money. If the amount of the fix would have been manageable, I would rather pay the fix myself than ever have to deal with this company again. Between losing our money, incompetent reps and the waiting game, I'm not sure how this company is still being utilized by mortgage companies.

I read the previous review of this company and agree in all details with the writer. I was forced to use this company by my mortgage company. It has been nothing but problems since I began. They basically take your money and make interest on it. They have had my check and requied paperwork for over 5 weeks and still have not even mailed the processed check back to me. Every time I call they take one more small step in the approval process to keep me off their backs. Meanwhile I am stuck with a leaking roof in November. When I last talked to them (one of many) they suggested that I or my contractor just start on repairs without the check. I do not have a spare $13,000 laying around and at this point do not trust them to send me the money. If you have to deal with these people I would suggest sending everything "next-day-air" or registed mail to prove when and if the paperwork was received. Also enclose a registed return envelope and I am sure after my check is "mailed" there will be many delays blamed on the mail. Also call them each and every day to prod them to take action. Any ideas on where else I can complain would be appreciated.

CFPB complaint

File a complaint with the CFPB against your mortgage servicer. It's the servicer's job to get your money.

Untrained, uncaring, and incompetent...

Insuranceclaimcheck.com is a total waste of time and money. My house flooded on 8/12/16, and in January of 2017 I get an email from them claiming I have to follow their policy in order to receive my flood insurance check. First, my mortgage company GMFS never even had the brains to inform me that I would have to be dealing with Insuranceclaimcheck.com. Second, I'm sick and tired of dealing with 3rd party contract companies because my mortgage company can't handle the paperwork. And third, everyone I deal with at these 3rd party companies is uneducated and flat out useless. I have submitted my contractor's W9 form four times, and the conditional waiver of lien three times because Insuranceclaimcheck.com can't seem to get their act together. Finally today, 2/8/17, I receive a notification from Insuranceclaimcheck that my claim is "being reviewed for potential disbursement". Reviewed, really? After six months I am finally being, reviewed? Wow......if GMFS wants to keep my business, they had better start handling some of their business in house and get me in touch with an actual employee that can get things done instead of running away to contract companies to do their dirty work for them.
