I am highly unsatisfied with this company because they took my money and then they closed shop and disappeared and they have done this with so many hard working people and no one seems to know where these criminals are located at. I last heard they had moved to Washington Dc, but are being sued by everyone, I want my hard earned money back also!!!!

Interface rip-off 3,457 dollars from me Margaret J in promising to sign my daughter for modeling companies, but the did nothing for the contract. I need help to find this people who rip off my money.

  • Jun 29, 2015

Money was financed for a four outfit photoshoot, which will not take place, as we have learned that even rent was due at the building Interface was using in East Brunswick, NJ. A total of $1700.00 was financed over a 10 month or more period. Our airbrushed composition cards were never received either. The problem lies in the false hope given to customers. Upon pick up of the first photos, it was told to us that we had to becomes members or the photos would just sit there and would not be posted to the "200" agent that InterFace was associated with. This alone made me open my eyes wide...because I knew we were being taken. I then realized I could do my daughters PR work myself...and informed the kind marketing rep that we would go home and think it over. My husband, however, decided to accept the offer and agreed to the financing of $189.00/month for 10 or so months. We left without physical photos in our hands, instead we received Interface's website with a log in and pswd from where the photos could be downloaded. Mind You, we paid an extra $30 or $40 for the copyrights, which they said we were co-owners of the photos from the first shoot. Which that set if photos cost $1000.00. It was to cover a certain amount of photos taken in two outfits. The other $700.00 was financed, to cover photos with four outfits. The following Spring or June (2015). I googled Interface to find out what happened to the composite cards, and instead I found out they were closed.

Interface came up to me and my wife and child at the mall they said my son had potential for modeling if they could interview him we made app.and we met with them we met for third time and took photos and I paid the then we had to by the photos on line again then we sign an agreement for more photo shoot in the next 3 to 4 years they said they we're going to advertise my son for work cause if he did not get work they would not make money so stupid me I agreed to go forward now here three years later we have not got a call or nothing so I figured that I would at least get my 1600.00 dollar photo shoot but they are no where to be found I heard that there is a law sute against them but I'm not sure so please help me find them and at least stop them from ripping people off and getting kids hopes up I know they did mine

I signed up with Interface on 02/10/14 to have a photo shoot that year and 2 additional photo shoots. I was told that they could get me some modeling jobs. I waited about 1 month before I contacted them to find out why I hadn't heard anything about modeling events. I was told that some agents had looked at my photos, but were not interested. This went on for months. Last month I went in person to their establishment in Gaithersburg, MD only to find out that they were closed. I never received a letter from Interface nor a refund. I want to file a class action law suit.

Unbelievable how these people can look you in the face, lie to you about what they will do for you and then never follow up on any of their promises. Dont fall for their line of BS people, its a scam. Comments such as "your son has beatiful eyes" and "he is very handsome" are just to draw in their next victim in order to take your money and NEVER hear from them again. Keep your money from these fakes, dont give them a dime, you WILL regret it.

They use parents and childrens emotions to make millions of dollars. I myself spent initially $3940.00 to try to persue my 16 year old daughters dream. Then later on was told to sign up to another company Backstage for $10. a month to help her manage her talent. Nothing!! They promised us right in front of her ...the area we live in Florida she would be a main attraction she has light hair, light skin, blue eyes, and freckels everyone will want her...Nothing. I called and I e-mailed Nothing! She was 16 at the time a time when young girls really think about their appreance, what was I supposed to tell her? She felt like she was ugly no one responded to her no one responded even to me. These people are vampires they live off of families emotions most of all they ruin childrens self esteem. They came across as a very repuatable company dropped names like Disney, Universal, Walmart, and Bealls. Please don't fall for this. I first saw this on the news I totally believe ,but can't believe I was scammed I thought I did my resaerch and I was wrong over $4000.00 dollars later.

On June 15, 2014 I entered into a contract with Interface to have my daughter photographed and advertised on the web. Contract stated by June 18, 2014 her account would be up and running and we should be receiving phone calls. On June 18, 2014 there was no account set up and the password they gave to me did not work. I emailed and called several times and got no response. Finally, I disputed the transactions on my credit card. The dispute did not go through because they made contact with interface and was told my account was done. I received an email from interface a few days later stating that the account was ready. I tried to login and there was nothing there. I tried to call but there was a message this time stating that due to operational reasons they could not answer the phone and gave an email address to send inquiries. I immediately drove to the location in Gaithersburg where I had visited to enter in the contract and it was closed down. So I re-opened the dispute and am waiting for a resolution.

My daughter was interested in modelling, found interFACE modelling company in Gaithersburg online, she registered with them and that was how they started calling her every minutes in Febuary 2014. Since that is what she wanted, i gave her my support. She was scheduled for appiontment, all they were talking about at the appointment was a lots of money to be involved in modellig in their company. I let them realised that i couldn't afford all the money, i am a single mother who love to care for children and i can only pay $250.00 with my credit card. The lady i spoke to took my credit card, went out and came back with a receipt of $595.00 I was really pissed, i told them to cancelled the transaction immediately because i couldn't afford to pay that much money, but she requested me to write a certified mail within three days to thier office which i did but still, my money was not refunded. I reported to my bank, my bank misinterpreted my explanation and requested for only $345.00. Since then, I have been calling them for a refund of $250.00 but they never did.

Roman Vintfeld, his family and brown-nosing cronies like Rick Rubin are all worthless and soulless crooks. As a former manager, I know first hand how completely and utterly corrupt these people are. They're not even people. They are dirt. God help their souls. For the millions of victims (clients and employees) that were taken advantage of, this is for you:

Roman Vintfeld

(917) 416-2082

(201) 828-2039

(917) 664-7200

Rick Rubin

+1 (516) 729-7238

(508) 612-1556

Good luck everyone. May justice be served.

I have called Interface Nj since the beginning of August to inquire about my refund( I had followed their refund policy) According to their refund policy, you will get your refund 30 days after you put in the claim. I had filed mine July 14,2014 which they confirmed they recieved ( via telephone and postal return receipt) They had told me that they were having some issues and that I should get my refund by the end of August. I called today(8/18) just to follow up and the recording on the machine said that they were experiencing operational issues and have no choice but to shut down operations. I should have followed my instincts on this one. They prey on children and parents. And because as parents we want to give our children their dreams, we become vulnerable and give in....

The money we put in is hard earned money that we could not even afford($1175 to be exact) I hope there is someone out there that can help us.

On 7/20/2014 I was approached by a young lady in the mall in Columbia to go meet with a talent recruiter. Later that day. I was called by a gentleman that called me to schedule an appointment to meet with me and my husband about my daugher Carolina Molina (7 months old) to discuss opportunities for taking pictures to create a composite card for her. My husband and I met with a person by the name of Brittany Tober we agreed to have a composite card for our daughter. She charged us $ 450.00 dollars which we paid in 3 installments. Ms. Tober scheduled our photo shoot for 8/16/2014 at 2:00 pm. When we arrived to the premises there was nobody at the office. There where two other persons outside the place saying that they also had appointments for photo shoots. I called the customer service line to inquire about the photo shoot to let them know that we where there waiiting and you could not leave any messages. I also sent an email to them. I also waited outside their offices for 30 minutes and nobody showed up. I been calling their offices and nobody is picking up the phone. I later found out that interface has been scamming people telling them to pay for composite cards that they would send to different agendies to recruit for commercials and media campaigns. I want to get my $ 450 back. I am also sending a complaint to the state of maryland attorney's office to file a complaint. It is so sad that this people like to abuse families with young children.

On January 30 I went to the Gaithersburg location of Inter Face. Ms Brittany Tober the representative talked with me for a while, telling me how their company has made uncountable number of stars. The told me the procedure was that potential talents pay twelve hundred dollars( $1200.00) for the photo shoot session, then copies are kept at the agency where they are forward to talent seekers for contracts. I then told Ms Tober I was there more out of curiosity and that they had to inform their clients ahead of the appointment that they are expected to pay for professional photo shoots. Ms Tober then tried to convince me that $1200 was not much money as compare to the stardom which will come after. She then asked for my bank debit card I told her it was not working as I tried to use it earlier during the day and it didn't work. I was planning to take it to my Bank the next day. Then Ms Tober told me give it to me one second, I'll see what is wrong with it. I told her I had just moved to the USA andthat I did not have enough money to spend on that, I was still settling down. She took my card, walked out if her office and came back few minutes after with copies of receipts. She said I did it for you at eight hundred and twenty five dollars ($825) I looked at her astonished.ni told her I had not ordered her to swapp the money off my card. She said that is not much money and that I would be a star soon. At that moment I did not figure out how the money could be sent back to my card, since it was ellecyronically withdrawn. I asked her if they do refunds she said yes. She then took the contract out and asked me to sign I was very hesitant. Went through it and saw what it said about refunds. Then I signed the receipts, she kept saying sign it you would not regret. As the contract stipulated I had three days to send a refund letter, which I did the next day. I had confirmation from the post office they had received my cancellation letter. It was sent by certified mail. The contract says they had thirty days to refund the money. I waited for thirty days then called them for my refund. They always asked me to wait. After a month, I called them every single week week. They always said the same thing. They would get put me on hold for at least 30 minutes each time I called, some times an hour. Then they would say call the client service department I would do so but each time some one picked up, they said they are not in charge of the refunds, that I am at the wrong department. The last time I called was today, July 30, 2014. Same response, you are at the wrong department, wait. At a point I got my Bank involved, I was on the phone with a representative from the bank, they said they would get their Vice president call me in half an hour, but I recieved no call. The Bank reported they could not help me further because I reported the claim late. Since January I have not had my money back$825. The contact says they have 30 days to refund the money. I still have everything which proofs they have failed to respect the contract. They include the contract it self, Ms Brittany's business card, the receipt of the certified mail which proofs that they have received my cancellation letter, and my copies of the receipts. The fraustration is unexplainable. Sadness and depression have invaded me. I am a clear cut victim.

So here is the long of the short. You apply on line and they call right away pretty much. They call everyone to get a buck but make you feel like there is "interest" in your child. They call to confirm your in person appointment about four times. When you get there, they take a lot of your time. They are busy, very busy. The first appointment cost us $1277.00. There was no opportunity to think about it. They wanted the money now or never. That alone was concerning. It sounded like it was all inclusive except for some three dollar cards you can purchase ie. the profile of the best 5 pics. We paid it on the credit card. Very pushy, you can not think on it a call back, not at all. The Director make it sound like they don't take everyone so we went forward. Next, it the photo shoot. It is packed! We were there like 5 hours. Two people doing hair and makeup and a line like you wouldn't believe. Believe me. they do pick everyone. Even my 10 year old figured that out! Next the "marketing" appointment. You view the pics and love them of course. I sat down with this rude lady that was already so stressed. Now I know why. She brought out the "book" which had pricing that make me instantly sick. I knew I had gotten ripped off. I said "I thought my $1300.00 covered your marketing my for daughter. You have the pics on line and at your clients request you send them????? She says, oh no, that was just for the photo shoot. Same thing you pay then or that is it. We know this is always a red flag. No time given at all to make a major purchase. I stated to walk out. They brought someone else in to "work with me". We left. Not only am I out a ton of money but my daughter go so excited for nothing and I wasted three entire days off just to get taken to the bank and lied to.

Back in March I was with my son in the Treasure Coast mall when I was approached by a person from InterFace. I took a minute to talk to them. They took all my and my son's information. About 1 week or so later I received a call from someone at the InterFace Boca Raton office asking me if I wanted to come in with my son because supposively he was selected to have an "interview". I told the person on the phone that if they were looking for money I was not interested. The person on the phone told me that InterFace was not going to request any money from me, that all they wanted was to talk to my son to see if he was a good candidate for them. I agreed and on April 3, 2014 I drove all the way from my house in Port Saint Lucie to Boca Raton which is about an hour and a half. When we got to the office I was asked to sign in and have a sit. After half hour a lady called me and took my son and I to her office. There she started talking about InterFace and what they do. She shared photos of different children that signed up with them who have landed modeling and tv jobs. All the stories sounded very interesting and my son was head over heels with the idea that he could be in a tv show. Then of course I was asked for money. The lady said that I did not have to pay all at one, she said they had financing available. So I contemplated the financing option and went for it seeing that my son was so excited. The package I chose ended up being around $1500.00. I paid $100.00 and the balance was left to be paid in monthly payments of $70.00. An appointment for my son's photo shoot was scheduled for April 13, 2014. On April 10 I received a call from an InterFace employee advising me that my financing was not approved and that unless I paid the full amount of $1500.00 they would have to cancel the photo shoot. I told the lady on the phone to go ahead and cancel the photo shoot and I asked her what I needed to do to get the $100.00 I had put as down payment. The lady advised that I needed to request the $100.00 in writing to the financing department and let them know that because the financing was not approved I was requesting my $100.00 down payment and that they would gladly refund it. I wrote the letter and mailed it certified on May 01, 2014 along with copies of my credit card receipt and purchase agreement. Today is July 03, 2014 and I have not received anything. I will call on Monday July 7th and try to get this situation resolved. My next step if I don't get results if driving down to Boca Raton and walk into the InterFace office and let all customers in the waiting room know about my situation. I am going to take advantage of my freedom of speech for once. InterFace is a big time RIPOFF company!

So I was in the mall with my 3 year old frantically searching for one of those little blue police cars you can rent and push the kids around the mall in. My daughter can't live without it and it makes my shopping experience much easier! So in my frantic search, a young woman approached me saying "Oh wow! What a beautiful daughter you have. I work for a children's model agency and I think she would be a great model." Ok so this has been told me to MANY MANY times. My daughter is gorgeous. I hate to brag but her bright green eyes and blond tight curly hair that puffs into an afro is very unique and beautiful and I am stopped by random people often who say I should put her into modeling. So I was thinking, sure why the hell not. So she takes my name and number and I go on my merry way. Tuesday rolls around and I get 3 missed calls from a number in union city (201-255-2125). So I called the number back and when the person answered with some company name I asked wait where am I calling? And he said "Oh HI Jenny! How are you?" like he knew me. It was soooo so creepy. Then he transfers me to this random recording about modeling and it occurred to me oh yes, I remember now. So I hung the phone up and did a search on google and found A LOT of very bad reviews and some not so positive rip-off reports. There is no way I would bring my daughter to a place like that. No way in hell. So I called back and told them to remove me from the calling list. The guy kept trying to get me to stay on the phone and I just repeated myself then hung up.

Well, today (Wednesday) I received another missed call. Then another call and I answered it saying "please stop calling this number! I am not interested in this, please stop calling." Again, this time a lady, kept trying to talk over me and kept referring to me as "Jenny" as if she knew me which I felt very uncomfortable with. All of a sudden I hear a faint voice in the background and IT WAS MY HUSBAND!!! Ok CREEPY!!!! First of all, how on earth did they get my husband's phone # and why was he on a 3 way phone call with these people? He kept saying "I don't know what's going on here?" and I kept saying "honey, hello? this is totally wierd!" and he kept saying "what the heck is oging on here? why are these people calling about my daughter?! Why is my wife on the phone? who are you people?" It was so very very wierd! So I called him and apparently they called him on his cell phone but I never gave them his cell phone so it's even more creepy!! Totally totally creepy sales tactics. I will report them over and over again if I keep receiving weird phone calls liket his. SOOOOO STRANGE!

They will try to sell you a photoshoot, which does not guarantee if your child will be picked! if you pay them it will not be easy to get the money back from them, their staff is nasty and rude if you decide not to buy the photoshoot, the lady told that I have wasted their time and she was judging me how I am dressed and tells me how I cannot afford to pay for this photoshoot! They will also try to sign you up for a casting website which is $19.95 A month! I will highly recommend you stay away from them and do not go there, spread the word and save your money from these d**** bags!
