Jamil Law Center Reviews

  • Aug 7, 2014

I hired Jamil Law Center / Clients to work me to get Wells Fargo to set me up on a Fixed Rate Mortgage. It all started in January 2014 with a Mr. Frank White. He stated how Bank of America and Wells Fargo intentions are to take homeowners homes away from them through a long dragged out process of the same paperwork being filed orver and over again.

I asked him for the success rate of his company and Frank told me 3 out of 10 people they would get their loans processed through. I told Frank that I did not have an extra $4,500.00 dollars to throw away. He assured me that if I sent them my information they could take a look at it and determine if they could help me. Well, I sent them all the informaiton that they asked for. I was told by Frank White, Jamil Law Center/Client Services had their very own Loan Underwriting Department and they were going to see if I qualified for a fixed rate mortgage.

Well, according to Frank White, the new laws that President Obama has put into place to help protect the homeowner, I qualified for what they called the "3D's":

1. Death (Family Member or Spouse)

2. Deduction In Income

3. Divorce

Well, I told Frank that I certainly qualified for the first two! Shortly after I signed up to represented by Jamil Law Center, Frank White was gone! I then called around Jamil Law Center until I found out that Young Lee was taking the place of Frank White. I paid Jamil Law Center $1,000.00 to start. I wanted to see what they were going to do! Young Lee as a couple of months started complaining about me paying off the $3,500.00 balance. I made another $500.00 payment and set back a little while to see what they could do for me. The other strange thing is, they gave me an account number to take my payments directly into Bank of America to deposit into their account. Why would a company use a bank that they are fighting with for their clients? duh!

I did not see anything happening and called back to Jamil Law Center and spoke with a Sarah Morgan, she stated she was being asked to provide documentation like, check stubs, bank statements, tax returns, death certificates and a hardship letter. Well! I provided all of this informaiton. Sarah is now no longer working in the her department and her voicemail sated that her replacement will be calling me shortly. That was over 2 weeks ago. Well, Wells Fargo continue to tell me that I did not qualify for the HAMP program. Wells Fargo continued to send me paperwork for the HAMP program over and over and over again. They were attempting to run down the clock to forclose on my home. I have tried to reach out to Sarah Morgan and Young Lee via numerous emails and phone calls to no avail. I appears that everybody is on the run!

I sent Young Lee an email asking for help about a very important time sensitive letter I received from Wells Fargo and the last response I heard from Mr. Lee was he was going to call me back later on the same day. I have been trying to contact Jamil Law Center / Client Services for over 2 weeks. I think all of my calls appear to going to some sort of a call center. There was a guy name Josh and answered their Toll free number 1800-475-2510 stated that I had called the Thomas Law Center. I asked him if this was Client Services and he said yes! I then asked him what was the difference between Jamil Law Center and Client Services and he hung up the phone in my face.

Again, I wish I would have followed my first mind and not hired this law firm in the first place. This whole thing appears to be a SCAM in my opinion. I'm going to seek outside counsel to see if their is a way to recover my $4,500.00 back.

Please beware and you probably want to veer away from this company!
