I gave mr.harbrige 3,000.00 down to take over payments on an rv in 2008.I felt it was strange he had me put the down payment in hhis wifes name and not his as stated on the contract. I have faithfully paid my payments but had several issues. The rv had major issues and I was not allowed to contact owner for warranty info. I have had over 2,000 in repair and about another thousand to go.
I was getting frustrated because they wouldnt send tags and my red flag was the fact they refused to take a proper form of payment, They wanted the payment in money orders. This cost me over 100.00 a year in certified fees etc. I told him I wanted to either pay by debit or chase quick pay. They took 7 payments by Chase then inormed me their banka ccount was closed. I was forced back to money order. The owner of the RV never receieved 7 payments. Jay was supposed to forward payment to owner . Of course now that the RV is 7 payments behind ( I HAVE RECEIPTS,) They are reposessing the rv. I am in second stage liver disease and live full time in this RV also due to my financial state I have nowhere to go. They are leaving me homeless. I cant believe they waited until I had 1 year left to pull this. They will repo it resell it and get a pile more money at my expense, I am not behind and have never been late on 1 payment but Jay wrote the owners and told them I was a slow payer. This is a lie. I have always paid early.
It is 116 degrees in the desert and I am forced to buy a tent to live in,
Jay refuses to take our e mails or phone calls. The owner stated he is unable to reach him but received an email stating Jay no longer wanted to be in the middle.........The middle? he signed a contract . The owner of the RV states he never received the 3 thousand down payment I gave in 2008.
I am low income awaiting disability and do not have the money for a retainer to hire an attorney. I am in Ca he is AZ so even going t hru small claims would be a huge hassle. Even though I have all my receipts and can prove I have paid I dont have any rights or 1 leg to stand on. I have made 84 payments and paid more than the agreed amount of 19,000.00 so far. it is now up to 21000 I have paid. So this was a sweet deal for everyone but me.
