Found a great looking car at an affordable price for a college student on Craigslist. Seemed great and I jumped on it immediately, purchasing a 2003 Nissan Murano. I thought I'd gotten a deal!

Turns out the car has numerous problems and was sold to me with the guy knowing he was selling me a POS. Less than 2 months of purchasing it, the thing breaks down on me: not accelerating, rattling noise, etc. Mechanics say the entire inside (engine , transmission, starter) were improperly worked on, and then not put back together correctly.

There are nuts and bolts missing, the starter wasn't fully put together. I am facing upwards of $6000 repairs, and the guy claims to have no idea about any of it. However, he told me it was his Dad's car he was selling. Turns out he has multiple other cars he's selling. they can't all be for his Dad. He uses the this number and goes by the name of Joe .

He also cliam's "a mechanic friend of his" took a look at it and everything was perfect. I didn't touch the car when I got it, and sure as heck didn't take off nuts and bolts. He knowingly sold me a dangerous and defective car, and I have almost gotten in accidents, and died in one instance, because of his scam.

Do Not Buy From Him! Your life will be put at risk! It seems like a fabulous find - great looking car, everything working great, but don't be fooled! He'll take your money and leave you to deal with a broken car and the potential of getting hurt!
