John Park was referred to us from apparently a very poor company. We asked him to come give us a quote to do two pools for a wedding venue business we were opening at our property. We gave him around $25,000 in small increment checks over weeks and then started noticing all these things we had to pay for right then to get that price or for whatever reason he gave were not showing up at the job site. All we had to show for the money was an originally priced $9500 fiberglass swim spa that we got for $4500 that still had to be refurbished on the surface and one third of our pavers that were to go around the pool.
April 24th I believe it was, John got pulled over for speeding and police saw the warrants for his arrest and took him in. He has called us twice from jail assuring us everything is okay and he has our money and would release it to another contractor he sucked into our job to finish. That guy never received anything. Nor have we heard another word from him.
Today I got word from the place where he got our pool that only $1000 was paid towards our steel walls and if we don't pay the additional $3200 within 5 days that they will put a lien on our house. This man apparently has a huge track record! Stay away from him! I am still astonished a company would refer him! He didn't just screw up a family pool he screwed up a small business from starting up. And to think he has a son who is seeing how crooked his dad is. Plain disgusting to think about!
