When I put in the wrong web address for a grocery store feedback page, there were webpage adds. I found the Joven Skin Care ad. It states the trial offer is for $4.95. However, the check box information is where the VERY FINE PRINT states that the $4.95 only pays for the shipping. Begining the date of ordering thru shipping, the small print says you have 14 days to call to cancel. I was not aware, so here I am (ordered on 6/10 now 6/27), and my account was debited for $89. that was the trial, and if I had wanted to return the small bottle I received of 6oz, I would have also had to pay the shipping of $4.95 again. Here is the "fine print"

Shipping of Product(s). Your order will be processed and shipped within about 1 business day. Shipping time is estimated to be two to four (2-4) business days from when your order ships out. Price Reduction. Company may at any time choose to lower the prices of products or services.

Return Policy. Company will credit one returned unopened product per customer if the received package is post marked within 30 days of the original order date and included with a RMA number obtained from customer service. No returns are credited after 30 days of the original order date. Merchandise must be returned at customer’s expense accompanied by an RMA. Absolutely no returns are credited for partially used product. No refunds for any packages without an RMA. You may request a RMA and instructions on how to submit a return by calling 1-800-930-7851. There is a 19.95 restocking fee on all returns once enrolled in the subscription program.

Trial Orders. By submitting your shipping and payment information and authorizing the trial order, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the 14-day trial offer seen on the web page you had or will be ordering from. Once you click the order button, identified on checkout as a colored button that currently reads “Rush My Order” you will be sent your trial order of product, and be billed a small amount to cover the shipping and handling fee which will appear on your account today as “URL + PHONE NUMBER”. The 14-day trial period begins on the day you place your order and may be cancelled by phone at 1-800-930-7851. You may extend your trial by calling any time before the 14th day to request more time to try the product out. All customers are responsible to pay the Shipping and Handling charged for the first shipment once the order has been submitted. The cost of the product is $89.75 and you will be billed that price for the initial product sent out if you do not cancel prior to the 14th day of your trial period expiring and return the product back as Company assume the product and included health information are working for you and you wish to continue using. If after your 14-day trial period you wish to continue to receive product, simply do nothing and in approximately 30 days and every 30 days thereafter, you will be shipped a 30-day supply of product for the full price. If you find that your 30-day supply is going to run out prior to your new shipment date please call customer service number so Company can move up your shipment date. If you wish to cancel your order before the 14-day trial has ended, simply contact by phone at 1-800-930-7851 and you will not be billed anything further provided you return the product back. Unless you contact customer care department at 1-800-930-7851 to cancel your monthly auto-shipments, you will continue to receive product every month and be billed the full price respectively. Your request for cancellation, whether by phone or email, will be processed immediately; however, you will be responsible for any charges, billing or shipments that have already been shipped to you or that have already been delivered to you at the time of your cancellation. If you are trying to cancel outside of t he customer care hours of operation (9:01pm to 8:59am) you may submit a request of cancellation by email to [email protected]. All cancellation requests whether by phone or email should receive a cancellation confirmation number and an email stating your subscription has been cancelled. It is suggested to keep this number for your records. Any future discrepancies resulting from not having a cancellation confirmation number will be at the discretion of the company.

Did Not Receive and/or Lost Package: All products are expected to arrive to the shipping address originally typed into the web form on the product web page you ordered from within 2-4 business days after it ships. Packages will ship out within 1 business day from the day you place your order. For orders placed on a weekend date, packages will ship out the following Monday, assuming it is not a major holiday. If for some reason you do not receive the product after five (5) business days of ordering it is recommended to contact customer support at 1-800-930-7851 and request the trial be extended and that the product be reshipped before the 14-day trial has elapsed. All orders are shipped with delivery confirmation, if the order is shown as delivered Company are to believe it has been delivered unless you call to state otherwise before the 14-day trial has ended. There will be no refunds for product claimed to be undelivered if Company are not notified before the 14-day trial has ended and the package is shown as delivered with delivery confirmation obtained via the US Postal Service. There may be times when shipments are delayed a few extra days.

Trial Awareness and Compliance. Company makes sure all customers are aware of the terms and conditions of this offer when placing an order. Company have consulted with legal team who conducted a compliance review of website and product and were told Company are in compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines set forth.

Explaining that I only had 10 days from purchase to cancel. No returns on open product. Would have NEVER ordered with a 10day trial, I hadn't even received the package by then. Laytonsville, MD or return to Santa Ana, CA

Completely frustrated!!! Joven Skin Care offers and 18 day trial that starts date of purchase.Placed order 5-12 called to cancel today 5-28 (day 17 of trial) they had already charged my card for $89.95

Obviously confused??? They then explain I should have called 7 days earlier to cancel the trial and avoid being charged. However the internet advertising stated 30 day trial.

Now I'm no dummy to free trials and Internet sales. I understand how these things work so I read through the smaller print and see that it says 18 day trial from the point of purchase. SO The 10 day trial must have been in the extremely tiny print!!

Let's just say this was a very expensive, hard lesson learned!!

It is not a trial, the $4.95 are for shipping and handling. They charge you the full-price of the products after you cancel. Recommend you stay away from this company completely. Both Joven and Sereno will charge nearly $90 each after you cancel. Customer service will be very unhelpful as well. STAY AWAY!

Why are you sending me another bottle of this joven skin care? i don't want it, i am not going to pay for it and you better refund my money. now tell me how to send this crap back to you!!! debra bouchard p.s. i do not have anything ordered from you so don't send me anything else!

I went by the shipping policicies that this company asked for shipping free trail orders and they charged my credit card in less than two weeks after delivery after I received items the items. I had 30 days to cancel and they went ahead and charged my card before even two weeks was up for the next order. This is down right wrong. A lot of companies do this and should be penialized for this. They don't stand by their word.
